Title: The Bloodshed Begins.
Description: ~Open to Anyone~
Famine - September 9, 2005 09:56 PM (GMT)
Famine, one of four Riders of the Apocalypse, rode slowly towards the Sanctuary of Angels. The demon was here on a mission. Long had he waited for this war to start, and yet, after a year of its supposed start, nothing, not one fight between good and evil had happened. And Famine, impatient as he is, was angered at waiting any longer. The War starts today! The demon thought, glaring at the city ahead of him. He could hear the waves of the ocean crash along the coast in the distance, the chirping of seaguls, and the crowded streets of the Sanctuary ahead of him. Ah... What a beautiful day it is!" The crazed demon shouted to himself. If he was to be a human, this is where he probably would've resided. But Famine, was far from human, and more destructive than an army of them. Yes... This city's time is over. It shall be Sanctuary to no one any longer! The demon thought to himself in rage. He urged his mount foward charging at the city. The beast let out a hellish screech and galloped towards their destination. As the demon charged at the city gates, he began to prepare a... present for the guards.
The two golden spears that the angel's carried gleamed in the light of the sun. They stand tirelessly at watch, night and day. The two angel's at the gate caught site of Famine from a distance, and knew that his intentions were not good. One angel went off to warn others, shutting the gates behind him, the other stood guard, the blade of his spear aimed at Famine. In the back of the angel's mind, he knew something was wrong. No demon, even one as crazy as Famine would charge alone at the Sanctuary of Angels. It was suicide. And that was when the angel saw the horizon turn slightly red. It became sparkled with dozens of bright stars. "This isn't right.. its only noon!" The angel said to himself in terror. A crash behind him drew his attention away from Famine. The gates both oblitterated by a flaming boulder. The angel looked back at the horizon, and realized what was happening. Too late was he in his realization, because now Famine was upon the gates. The demon would pass the angel, leaving him to his doom with the meteors that were only seconds away. "And so begins the destruction." He said to himself grinning. The rest of the meteors now destroyed the walls on the Southern side of the city, from which Famine had entered. The demon dismounted and continued forward.
Strife - September 9, 2005 10:22 PM (GMT)
From the hill the flaming rocks ha demerged from now rose a black figure standing there wielding his spear that sooner or later would be coated in the blood of man. It seemed like only days ago he had signed up to the dark army and now here he was the second man to pass the walls of the Sanctuary of the Angels. From across the way he could see Famine standing there, the fires roaring all around already and the screams of women and children as they scattered to find any form of safty. Strife stood there and took a look at the sky, he knew he would soon be blood red as would the ground and probably himself.
Strife wasn't about to let Famine take all the glory and began to make his way down the hill towards the sanctuary. It would of been quicker if he had a horse but this was simply something he had to live with. It would only take a few minutes to march there alone. Why was the dark army only sending one unit at a time. Strifes new found bat was follwoing close behind, as fast as it had caught up with Strife it had left again and sped off towards Famine to give him the sign that Strife was on his way. The bat swooped around and circled screeching before brining itself down and landed on the shoulder of Famine.
Strife was becoming inpatient as he made his way slowly towards the battleground. This was not going to last long as a slow march turned into a fast march and then finally a jog. The clagging of armour and the breathing of the demon was becoming louder and louder as he sped up constantly with his eyes fixed on the upcoming battlefield. This was tidy compared to the damage that would soon be resting there. Strife raised his spear above his head and roared and sped up into a sprint towards the battle field. He stretched his arm out infront of him and began to launch fire balls towards the city. Flames flew past Famine at high speeds vapourizing innocent people as they scurried for safty.
The battle hadn't even started and already the dark army was winning and looked like it might stay that way. Strife continued to sprint and blast his way through the guards who had decided to act a hero. One guard got passed all the fire balls and was met with the heavy steel blade of a spear piercing directly through his stomach and impaleing him onto the ground about 15 meters away from the battle field. Whoever got here later would now know Strife was already here. The demon charged over the rubble of the wall and marched into the center of the Sanctuary where Famine was standing. The bat now left the hooded demons shoulder and perched upon Strifes shoulder.
"I see I haven't missed much." Strife growled but laughing aswel as the excitment built up inside him.
Ita the Reckless - September 10, 2005 02:57 AM (GMT)
Ita dug her staff into the loosely compacted sand lining the Eastern Coast. The lupine used her free paw to hold her cloak closer as a cold gust of wind blew her way. She turned her head to observe the sea: a dark blue color, with white-capped waves splashing onto the shore. Just then, a tiny comet flew around Ita’s head at an amazing speed. The lupine’s eyes, the only thing that could be seen under the shadow casted by Ita’s cloak hood, expressed a great amount of frustration.
“Rellik. I command you to stop.” Ita said, stopping her quite slow pace across the beach in order to discipline her minion. The comet slowed down and began to fly around about a yard away from Ita’s position.
“You know that is something that annoys me so. Now, go off and see how close we are to the Sanctuary. Report back immediately.” The lupine commanded, weakly pointing in the relative direction of their destination. The ghost sped off to the Sanctuary, out of sight in seconds. Thirty seconds later, Rellik was back.
‘saaanctuaryyy…clossse…’ it said to its owner. A small smirk appeared upon Ita’s maw and she began heading forward again.
Finally, the Sanctuary of the Angels was in sight. Ita and Rellik stood atop a hill overlooking the area. Ita used her left hand, her free hand, and pulled down her hood. The pointed ears, long muzzle, and brown coloration of the lupine’s wolflike head were immediately revealed. Her red eyes were cloudy and full of wisdom, age, and experience.
“So, my dear Rellik, do you think anyone has been violently killed here? I am sure some guards have, and maybe beings that have unsuccessfully launched an attack on the Sanctuary. Either way, there will certainly be at least one wandering spirit for us to capture.” Ita hypothesized as she took an overview of the Sanctuary. But just then, she noticed something.
An attack.
Ita wasn’t for or against what was happening at that moment. Looked like two people, most likely very powerful, wanted to attack the area for some reason. All the Lupine wanted to do here was collect a spirit and be on her way. She needed one that could fight, and was sure that a ghost like that would be here after this battle.
For now, she stood. And watched.

not so far away from ita a dwarf begain to stumble down hill being follwoed by an easly reconisable lesser shadow he turned to it and shouted somthing that was lost in the cries of batle and pointed at the gaping hole in the gate house with is warhammer. The shadow begain to make its own way down with a speed much greater than that of the dwarf's. The dwarf continued down the slope stoping to look for dead bodys to raise but found none. so he continued to the battle
Strife - September 13, 2005 04:13 PM (GMT)
Strife wasn't going to wait for Famine no more and just went on the attack. He had left his spear outside the walls so he would have to fight with anything he could find. As he searched he was ran at by a brave guard with a normal spear, Strife laughed as he would not get a new weapon. As the guard ran at him and lundged, Strife stepped back and gripped the bar of the spear and tore it from the guards hand. A scream came from the man as he turned to try and escape, but it wasn't good enough, Strife had drove the spear through the back of the man and the blood coated blade had burst through his stomach dripping blood everywhere. His dieing breaths excited Strife as he was becoming more and more ready for battle.
It was a shame to see how there was no one of much expierence fighting for the good side. Strife had decided not to waste his time destroying peasents, as fun as it would of been he had to find someone who would put up more of a fight. From the corner of his eye he saw the lesser shadow tear through the hole in the wall screaming like some kind of banshee. Strife growled when he realised who was following it.
"Dwarves, you can't go nowhere without them sticking their noses in." He laughed to himself as he took off away from the pack and made his way down the side of a building an into a dark ally way.
The plates of his armour clatteterd as he walked in the dark, it was still light enough to see but was very eerie aswel. Strife made sure he was alert at all times as he scanned the area, every now and then a woman or child would run screaming. They never made it far because Strife would launch a fire ball at them, and being as there were no turns in the ally way they couldn't dodge it no matter how hard they tried. Woman.....Children.....It didn't matter to Strife who he killed or injured.

upon reching the breach he threw himself into the fray, swinging his warhammer in large sweping arks on more that one ocation a sickening crack was heard but as each blow of the hammer killed the inocent, the eyes of the dwarf begain to glow. Notecing strife as the demon in the tent when he had signed up he begain to batlle towards him untill a gaurd valiantly blocked his path, he struck down with a long sword but the dwarf raised his sheild and the blade bit into the wood. Snori struck down on the hand of the gaurd breaking it with ease he droped the wepon and with a scream drove a dagger into the side of snori. Snori smilled as the pain corced through him he swiped at the legs of the gaurd snaping a shin and forcing him to the ground, snori droped his shield and pressed his free hand onto the face of the man and shouted words he had comited to memory. The man begain to scream his face draind of all coulor and the hand on his face begain to glow red the wound on his side healed quickly leaving the man a hollow husk.
Ita the Reckless - October 4, 2005 12:37 AM (GMT)
Ita smirked as the dwarf and the demon continued their attack. She had the urge to join in on the fight, to help in the slaughter of the innocent. She could kill a guard, capture and tame its ghost, kill a few more people and then leave. Her ears perked up with hidden excitement.
“Alright. Time to get my hands bloody.” She uttered two spell incantations. The first covered her in a suit of ghostly armor; the second summoned the ghost of a mildly armored human. Ita walked down the hill and entered the Sanctuary. There was a good amount of carnage caused by the attackers. The lupine picked up a blood-drenched blade that was lying on the ground.
“Rellik, bind this to the top of my staff.” The minion obeyed and turned into a long ghostly string. Ita held the blade in the place she wanted it fastened and Rellik wrapped around it. A nice weapon it was, however crude.
A guard came charging at the lupine. He couldn’t slow down before being impaled by the soul handler’s newly created polearm. The guard’s huge white angelic wings flapped vigorously in an attempt to escape, but the human ghost came from behind and kicked him in the back, making the Celestial’s body embedd itself even deeper into the weapon. The guard died quickly.
Ita pulled out a black gem from a pocket that resides on the inside of her cloak. The ghost of the newly slain guard hesitantly left its body. The lupine could see this. She said yet another incantation for a spell, held out the gem, and (to the spirit’s surprise) the Celestial ghost was sucked into it like a vacuum. Ita playfully tossed the gem in the air a couple times and pocketed it.
“Time for some real killing.” Ita said wickedly to the ghost that was assisting her. She held her weapon at a semi-upright position and went to go kill some more people.

Snori was ducking and weaving in the middsted of combat and remembered to of the most of his best spells he shouted the first then the second the latter caused a shimmering suit of gastly armour to appear on his body, and yet the second still did nothing. He knew it would take a bit longer to work so drawing a shinning barbed spear he drove it deep into the wing of a gaurd impailing him to the wall. Snori pulled out his warhammer and delighted in the look of terror it produced as he pulled it back for the swing, then he slammed it into the uprotected face of the gaurd crushing his skull. he then quicly drew out the spear and ran out of the thick of the combat ready for his deamon to make its apperance.
He didnt have to wait long as from the ground a large beast of fire and stone arose it roared and charged into the fray.
