Title: Morning in the woods
Description: Open to all

The Taurai Woods were filled with the start of the day, a fresh dew hung on the leaves and blades of grass as the sun rose to greet the day. A lone Timber Wolf yawned and gave a whine as it got up and shook its body to releive itself of the wet dew. It got up and licked the face of a brown haired woman. She stirred and looked at the wolf and streached. "Aren't you one to get up early." she said smiling. She got up and ran her fingers through her hair, winter was leaving and spring was comming. She got up and streached again her whole body stiff from lying on the ground. The wolf barked and grabbed her bow as she put her quiver on her back.
She shook her head and held out her hand, "Okay, give me that." she said. The wolf only turned around and playfully tried to keep in from her. She laughed, "Give it now Tykell." she said grabbing for it. After trying to grab it she managed to get the end and pulled it. It was a playfull game of tug-of-war and she won after the wolf let it go. She laughed and put it on her back. "Okay...What do you say we go exploring? How does that sound?" she asked. The wolf barked happily and the duo walked off through the forest following the path. The birds sang happily as they went to and fro over their heads, the sunrise sifted through the trunks of the trees as it rose, giving the sky a beautiful look. "Liara has outdone herself today." she said adjusting the pendant on her neck.

The demonhunter tipped his hat back and gave a deep yawn. The branch he had slept on last night was not nearly as comfortable as the one in his home world, where he would frequently sleep during his excursions to the woods by Tarsonis. He lay with his arms crossed behind his head on the branch, the sides of his long black cape trailing off the sides of the branch, and a belt holding several weapons hanging next to him on a thin branch. He closed his eyes again and breathed the fresh air. “Such a beautiful plane. So fresh and full of life. It's too bad that I'll have to be leaving it soon.” he said to himself in a deep voice, sitting up on the branch. He stretched, cracking several joints and tense muscles, grabbed his belt and tightened it around his waist, and then slid off the side of the branch, landing silently on the forest floor below.
He had nothing to do today, or hunt, for that matter. It was going to be a peaceful day where he could lay around, hit up the tavern for some food, and maybe do some light training. These were his favorite kinds of days. Sartana stopped. He heard a voice close bye. Stalking closer, he glimpsed a girl not too far from where he was standing. She mentioned something about Liara, but the demonhunter couldn't make out exactly what she said. There was a wolf walking along her side. Sartana lifted an eyebrow. A druid? Perhaps a ranger? He thought to himself, watching the girl. He stepped forward, having nothing better to do. She didn't look very dangerous, anyways.
“A serene morning, isn't it?” He asked her, stopping and looking up at the trees moving gently in the breeze.

As the woman walked on the wolf paused and it's ears perked up. The woman turned and saw the wolf turn and gave a low growl, "Huh?" she said as she stood by the wolf. Soon a tall, muscular man came out. “A serene morning, isn't it?” He said. She rubbed the wolf behind the ears, "Down Tykell, down." she said and the wolf stopped. The woman nodded, "Yes it is. Sorry, Tykell is very wary of people sneaking up on me. Be glad I was awake, he could have attacked. I am Rowan, and you are?" she asked adjusting the strap on her quiver so it sat squarely on her shoulder. She was unsure of this man's intentions but as long as he did not attack she would be fine with his company.

Sartana looked the girl over as she calmed the wolf, which was apparently a pet of hers with the name 'Tykell'. The girl herself was quite smaller than the demonhunter, and skinny, with long arms and legs, and a bow on her back, with a matching quiver of arrows. By her appearance and the way she handled the usually feral wolf, Sartana came to the conclusion that she was indeed a ranger. With this, he automatically respected her more, even if they had just met. He had been a demonhunter back in his world, before the invasion. There was so much about nature which he loved.
"Yes it is. Sorry, Tykell is very wary of people sneaking up on me. Be glad I was awake, he could have attacked. I am Rowan, and you are?" She asked, seeming quite friendly. The demonhunter was put off guard somewhat by her kind nature. Many would look at him under a suspicious light, as he was strangely dressed, not to mention armed. But she had seen through this. He smiled, and folded his arms across his chest, under his black cloak. “I'm Sartana.” He said in a deep, raspy voice. “It's my pleasure.” He extended his hand to her, in order to shake. He made sure to keep his movements slow and friendly, with no sudden jerks, as to not surprise her animal companion. Sartana had befriended many feral creatures dwelling in the woods surrounding his homeland, and had learned ways to keep them from attacking.
“What exactly are you doing in this forest? Resting, as I am?” He asked her, smirking, and regarding her with his colorful eyes.

Rowan watched as the man looked her over, she was not sure exactly what to think of him just yet, he did seem out of place with his clothes. The fact that he was armed was not surprising, after all many evil beings roamed the forests; orcs, ogres, evil spirits just to name a few. She got up from rubbing Tykell's ear.
The man crossed his arms, “I'm Sartana.” he said, "It's my pleasure." She smiled and nodded, he seemed to slow his movements a bit, probably not to startle Tykell. She took his hand and gave a friendly shake. “What exactly are you doing in this forest? Resting, as I am?” She withdrew her hand, "I was for the night, I am going to Estolad to buy items. I normally like staying in the forest but my supplies are running low." she said.
