Title: Peaceful Night...
Description: OPEN TO EVERYONE!
Jen Cerolinia - February 13, 2007 04:58 AM (GMT)
A gentle wind blew as Jen walked across the grasslands with her companions, Talis, Arshis, Bloodreign, and Fayt. Well they were more like friends to her. As night fell she looked up into the sky and smiled. Night again and no other human soul in sight. This is how it usually was for the vampiress alone with her animals. She missed her friends greatly and wished they were there with her.
Jen stood in the grass as the wind blew her light red hair back. She loved the breeze of the wind. Even though she could not feel it. Jen's thoughts were interupted by the sounds of her horses. Her war horse Fayt, a gift from the Syndicate of Blades, seemed alittle restless when near her nightmare, Bloodreign. Jen didnt know if they didnt like each other or what was going on. Talis then sat down beside her with Arshis. They were very protective of thier master. Jen thought maybe someone was approaching and looked all around. Nothing.
Hmmm...I wander what has Fayt so worked up? Jen wondered looking at her war horse. It was nice of the Syndicate of Blades to give me one. Maybe he isnt use to me yet. I wish i could calm Fayt down...
Her horses seemed to calm down after a few moments later so she relaxed. To night just seemed so nice a peaceful. Not a cloud in the sky and a gentle breeze. What could be better? Jen enjoyed the moment closing her eyes as the wind blew her light red hair back again.

Az dashed through the tall grass during this night, chasing a figure that was about half of Az's height. He couldn't make out what it was exactly, but he knew it had some muscle, and it hurt to get hit by it. It had punched Az in the face, laughed and ran off. Az ran right after it, coming out of practically everywhere chasing after it. Not only was it strong, it was fast.
Suddenly the little figure jumped up towards Az, and Az jumped up along with it. They approached each other, and Az threw a punch at the things chest. It made contact, and a loud thump came from the contact on the chest, and the impact on the ground. Az landed right by it, and went for it, taking the opportunity to do some damage. But this plan was ruined when the thing stood up fast, and punched Az right back on the chest, and really hard. Az was sent flying backwards, Az wondering the whole way how something that small could do so much damage. He landed a skidded a few feet, stopping near a young woman and her familiars.
He groaned a little bit as he sat up after a moment. He snapped up suddenly to a standing position, and looked around. He didn't see the little figure anywhere, and really wanted to get back at it. The breeze rippled his shirt, and his pure black eyes searched the dark night grounds stoically. He grunted a little bit, rolling his shoulders and popping them a little bit. He turned around, about to walk away, and saw the woman and her familiars this time. "Um..." He stumbled across his words, trying to find a reason why he happened to be there. And that was all he could get out.

Jen's eyes opened and she spun around as she heard a somewhat of a loud thud behind her. Fayt reared back on his hind legs and ran off as she saw a man hit the ground. She was so scared she didnt know what to say. He had scared the life out of her. Jen looked after Fayt who had run off.
"Fayt! Faaayyytt! Come back!" Jen called after her war horse. "I hope he comes back...." She sighed and turned back to the man who was now standing up infront of her. "Oh my goodness..." Jen said as she saw him. He looked worn and tired. "Are you alright?! You look ill." Jen remarked looking at his tired face. "What happened?" The young vampiress asked concerned.
Talis didnt seem to be frightened by him at all and of course her alu cat wasnt he was very friendly. Bloodreign walked alittle away...he never liked anyone but Jen for some reason. Jen could sense this man was good with her ability sense motive. She could sense his good intentions clearing her mind of other worries.
"My name is Jen." She spoke in a soft friendly voice. Arshis walked up to him and started purring loudly...which sounded alittle watery. Jen laughed. "Aww, Arshish likes you." She smiled.

He brushed himself off after snapping back into reality, and shrugged, thinking about what just happened to him. He really couldn't find a reasonable conclusion to that, so he went with the best description he could possibly think of. "I think I just got attacked by a baby orc, that's what." He said, a little exasperated. "My ego I think is a little more hurt that my body..." Those little things hurt, and were not for the faint of heart. He looked at her war horse, suddenly gone, and felt a little guilty. "Sorry about your steed, I didn't mean to startle it or you or your..." He paused, looking down at Arshish purring loudly at him. "Um, familiars." He finished, not really knowing what Arshish was, it being an Alu cat, and Az never seing anything like it before.
"I'm Az." He said, still looking down at Arshish, just seeing what it was doing. He looked up to Jen and smiled, as if nothing had just happened between him and little thing that attacked him. "And I'm fine, since I'm still standing." He said with a shrug, and a smile that shook off the moment.

"An Orc?" Jen repeated. "There in this area? i didnt know that...wow." Jen turned and looked the way Fayt ran. "Its nice to meet you, Az. And dont worry about Fayt...he'll come back im sure. I just think he gets scared easily." Jen smiled and turned back to Az. "If there are...orcs out here then do you think there will be Ogres around this area too?" She asked.
They just might be....anything wanders around these days. Jen thought. I wander where Kahn might be...
Jen thought back to the time when she met the ogre. Her and her friends were fighting him in the Sactuary of the Angels. In the end Jen befriended him and hadnt seen him since.
"Thats good that your okay." She smiled seeing Fayt slowly walk back.
(Not as long as i would like...)

He shrugged. "I don't even know if it was an orc." He said with a chuckle. He looked after Fayt, then back to Jen. "You too Jen. So, from what I saw just a moment ago, wasn't that a war horse?" He asked curiously, thinking war horses would rather attack than run away from any potential threat. He shook his head at her question. "I honestly don't know. If there are though, best advice is just to run." He said with a smile.
He looked back to where Fayt ran off, and saw him walking his way back. He smiled a bit, a bit more relieved now that he was coming back. "Yeah, I'll be fine." He said kind of distantly, not even looking at Jen, but at Fayt still.
