Out of Character note: Everything in Italics is not in Arda but another area when she has her powers. What is in normal text is what we are rping with.

Nearusa Aarnas stood on guard as she breathed in the wet foggy air, a light downpour in the middle of a forest...this was her element, the water around her made her feel at home. She created this place as a safe haven to unwind or think. She often came here alone, the weather was always raining or foggy and the lake nearby was her relaxing pool. But this was no time to relax, she took in a deep breath as she saw the clouds slowly disintegrate, leaving a dark matter in its place. She took a step back, unsheathing her sword as she stood. Normally if Rasus, her fiery brother came the rain would steam in one area and his footsteps would hiss as he walked towards her, but this was the work of Rasher, an evil being of which no one knew anything about. The Goddess of Darkness was the first to fall, shortly after each of her brothers and sisters fell to the dark being and now they were incompassetate and powerless as they fought to protect the world they designed. She knew that if she fell now, water would cease to rain upon the world below her. "Come out you creature...I will defeat you," she shouted to the darkness.

A deep black smoke sifted through the trees around her. "You my Goddess of Water...You have evaded me many times, and have kept the light shining. You Nearusa...You have kept your brothers and sisters going with your healing waters and encouragement. But I soon will defeat you. I will send you into oblivion, and without your ongoing "Hope" your companions will fall to my powers forever. Good bye my GODDESS!" he shouted as the smoke materialized into a sharp arrow and chain and lashed at her. She swung her sword and it shattered the dark matter, this continued for hours as she slowly began to tire. "Getting tired? Don't fear for you will sleep for eternity!" he said lashing at her. She moved to the side but was hit. She slipped off the edge of her haven and fell to the abyss below looking up she saw the face of her enemy as darkness surrounded her. She closed her eyes, 'This can't be how it ends, I refuse to let him win' she said. Suddenly she felt a warmth from within herself, she felt like she could hear the far off chanting of her sisters and brothers. "We refuse to allow him to win, as long as one of us lives he cannot win over our world. Stay safe sister." She heard them say as she faded into the darkness.

Moments later in a world far beyond her own...

The village of Estolad was bustling today, merchants and farmers sold their wears as the people moved along with their daily lives. In one dark alley not far from the marketplace a small blue orb floated down from the sky. In a flash of light the orb materialized into a Naiad. She was unconscious still weak from the battle on the haven. Her erratic breathing slowly synchronized and her heartbeat lessened to a smooth continuos drumming. She soon stirred and groaned. 'Where am I? Is this a dream?' she thought as she moved her hand, 'Cobblestone? This is not my home world. Where am I' she thought as she slowly opened her eyes, the vision was blurry but soon cleared and she looked straight into the eyes of someone.

((I'm assuming she was out cold on the ground then...))

Az had been in the calm Village of Estolad, taking a few days off from his travels. The place was small and nice, even though there weren't many people. Though today there was a lot of commotion around, and he wondered if it was a good business day or something. He shrugged as he came out of the Inn after a meal and noticed the surroundings. Oddly though, the reason for coming out was that he couldn't find his gloves. He knew he had set them near the window in his room, and figured they might have fallen out somehow. His window overlooked an alley, and knew that was a good place to start out.

Going around the building to the small little alley, he saw a young woman laying there, totally out cold, and breathing slightly hard. He paused, wondering if something bad might have happened to her around here, and the criminal got away. But she appeared to be fine, just a little winded. There were many theories in Az's head, but he decided to go and find out the reason why. He trotted over to her and knelt by her, his pure black eyes gazing over her.

She appeared fine, and that was confirmed when she began to come to. He shifted back a little bit as he knelt there, and waited for her to notice him. When he saw that her gaze met his, he dumbly, "Welcome to Arda. You looked a little out cold. You ok there?" It was a sort of dumb questiong, but the basic necessities of making sure everything was ok were necessary. At the moment he had forgotten about his gloves, since it wasn't that important anyways. They came cheap around here...
