Title: Order of the Istari
Description: open to preferably good characters
Ethari Xilophent - February 9, 2007 03:24 AM (GMT)
Ethari soared in the sky with magnigicant angel wings flowing behing him. His partner whom he wished to form a guild with was a little ways behind since he was a half angel. Together they wished to form a guild. The Order of the Istari. It was for the stars. They both loved the stars and thier secrets connected it to them. (OOC: If you wish to read more go to the temple of light then the shrine of the stars and it is the topic Order of the Stars)
He landed a distance away from the village not to draw attention to his angel wings. His family had been murdered for the angel blood that runs through cestailal viens. He landed roughly and pulled his jet white cape over his light blue clothes. He pulled his hood over his shiny blue eyes. He walked over and paced through the town waiting for the older half angel to catch up.

The knight was sitting outside the Blue Boar Tavern, as he usually did, with his novel-to-be opened halfway through and in his hands. A pencil was sticking out of his mouth, and bobbed up and down as he thought about where to go next with his story. Estolad has such an interesting bunch of people that travel through it.. But where are they now? If I have to rely on Felton one more time for a story, I'm going to go insane. He thought to himself with a sigh, turning his head to look at the elderly Felton sitting in the tavern, talking to himself. He wasn't exactly with it anymore.
Luke looked up just as an angel walked in front of him, another angel trailing a ways behind him. The knight cocked an eyebrow. He has the look of an adventurer about him; maybe he has a story to share with me? Luke thought to himself with a smile, standing up. He began walking towards the angel, but stopped. “No money... Gah- I hope he'll talk to me for free.” He whispered to himself. He often had to pay people to tell him their stories. People were just greedy that way.
He made his way through the crowd and emerged next to the angel, book in hand and face gleaming with excitement. “Hello, sir, I was wondering if you had a moment?” he asked, trying to sound as polite and not creepy as possible. “You look like a fellow adventurer. I'm writing a novel that catalogs the stories of adventurers such as yourself.” he said, still smiling. “I'm Luke Duke- the somewhat famous author.” He finished rather proudly, hoping the man had heard his name before.

Lothemadel finally landed in Estolad. He panted from the long flight from the shrine, being only of half angel blood. Lothemadel caught up with Etheri and walked to a nearby quaint inn. It was very calm and fancily decorated. People were drinking from delicate cups of tea, and the ocassional ale glass. "Greetings folk of Estolad!" he said cheerfully and sat down calmly at a chair.
A small, elven waitress came forth and asked for what he wanted to order. He wanted herbal tea, and nothing else. She came back momentarily with a beautiful glass with green tea. He thanked her and began to sip his tea. He picked up his spellbook of summoning and tapped his staff for a light in this dim setting.
People stared at the tall, sinewy, winged man robed in white with a white shaft of wood, his staff, the Ray of Elebereth. He experimented on a spell, Summon Lesser Monster. Etching mettallic blue runes in the empty space in front of him. When the last inaudible incatation was spoke the ruens glowed violently. A stunted moon gryphon appeared. It was five feet tall and three feet wide. People stared even more when a white gryphon was at the local pub. Lothemadel waited now for Etheri to see this accomplishment.

Etahri noticed the man Luke Duke talk to him. He made a attempt to conceal his strange expression at his name. He never had heard of him before. Oh well he could at least help him with his novel. He enjoyed people who did not make fun of him for his bright white robe and stunning blue eyes.
" Okay I have a story for you." He said with a stern face. He normaly wouldnt talk to strangers about his past. This man had something interesting about him. His tall body towered over his normally tall body. " It started when I was ten. My mother father and sister were kidnapped by orcs and sold to a small guild. They kept us in a cell were I could only see the stars. I now adore and serve them. They slowy took my family one by one to torture and kill them for thier vauleable cetsial blood. There screams still ring in my head as I lay to sleep. They took my sister and began to torture her. Then a group of Paladins and clerics of the stars saved us. My sister was taken with the clerics while I was sent with the Paladins and trained with thems"
As he finished his story his tears fell to the ground, thier crystilline shape splattered on the ground as if crushing his dreams. During this whole time he kept his head down and his hood still pulled over his head.

Lothemadel noticed Etheri speaking with Luke Duke. He intervened after Etheri finished his story. He walked up tall and proud and adressed the author. "I am Lothemadel, powerful summoner. And I will tell you a story of great importance. Me and my companion here are starting a guild, the Order of the Istari. This guild is focused on the stars and them becoming a favored element and reconized as one of the primary elements, not a subdivision of light. You seem like a reliable knight, and if interested, the publicist of the Order of the Stars." Lothemadel looked hopefully for the answer.
