Well, kind of new. It's actually really old and forgotten! A long long time ago when I first made Arda, there was another deity, the God of Air. He was overseer of the Guardians of Wind and Lightning. He fell inactive and I got rid of the position (*points to ruins of an ancient temple forum*), and put Wind and Lightning under the care of Nature. But no more! I have decided that I will bring this position back and return Arda to the proper way it was meant to be!

This means the God/dess of Air position is now open! :D The God/dess of Time position is still open too, along with many guardian positions, so get excited and get to applying! (If you fit the requirements and the element suits you.)

Oh, I'll also be re-arranging the Forces of Nature shop so that the Air spells are no longer in there, they will have their own shop with a section for wind spells and one for lightning. Seeing how puny this will make each section, feel free to contribute new air spell ideas in the suggestions forum.

Cool, I'll see if I can come up with some spell ideas.


Now that I think about it, this is actually good for my character, The Hero. You'll see why later.

Maybe Raijin (my 70-odd martial arts master) should give this application a try-out. Should be entertaining...
And I have plenty of Air/Lightning spell ideas... B)

Why don't you go ahead and promote Ploay? I don't think that there is anyone else who is a wind/lightning or air specialist. Although it will be interesting if she does fill the spot because that would give us 6 goddesses and only one god. Raku is so lucky.

Sorry, it doesn't work that way, deities do not get to switch positions. Why don't you leave it up to us to make the decisions, eh? :p

The God/dess of Air will look over Wind and Lightning, Guardian of Wind just looks over wind, and Guardian of Lightning just looks over Lightning :lol:

Everyone you can look in the members and at the bottom of the page there is something that allows you to select a group (ie Keepers of the Sacred Deed). This will allow you to see who is in that group. There is a group for old dieties. I believe it is called Ascended to Aman, or something like that.

No, he didn't change from Guardian of the Lightning to God of Light. He used to be Guardian of Lightning, then gave up the position / became inactive and went back to being a normal member, a human or whatever. Then he completely redid the character years later, starting from scratch with a new everything and applied for God of Light. I think I know how things went down, not you. :rolleyes:
