Title: The endless wait in the endless heat
Description: Open
.The Dark One. - February 5, 2007 04:57 AM (GMT)
He stood there with the wing filled with sand blowing. You could only see him covered in a cloak. You could see nothing but a standing shadow. The sand storms going by were great and no one was around. He was standing there alone. Every sand storm got bigger as they came bye and every thing was covered in sand. There were no plants to this part. Not even plants ment for the desert. You could see nothing other than Dark standing at the top of a sand covered hill. He stood there looking as if he was leading a great army but only him could you see. Not one move from Dark was seen. His cloak blowing back with the wind was the only movment happening other than the sand passing by. The Beautiful nothing was enough to keep Dark waiting in the same stop for as long as he has been. It was so empty and quiet that it would give any other being chills just to be in such an empty place. It would be only in compleat chance that any other thing were to come by. The sun got hotter with every passing minute that he waited. In one of the only days that this sun wa not a bother yet at it's hottest. The sun was clear and red being the only light around. No houses, no people, nothing was anywhere to be found other than Dark at the top of that hill standing the way he was. Without a move. Once in a while you could slightly hear the sound of a filled enough line of sand brush up on Dark and then it would fade just as fast as it would come. Nothing would happen. Dark would stay in the same spot without a move.
Musa Saphire - February 7, 2007 10:23 PM (GMT)
Musa walked through the desert hot and thirsty. The sun beat down on her skin making it tan. Her black dress and corset halter top didnt help. She regreted what she had done.
She felt scared and alone so she ran into a desert and kept on running until her legs could no longer carry her.
Infact at the moment she could bearly walk. But for some reason she pushed on. She didnt know why, she did or when the journy would be over, just to keep on going. She put her head up and saw a black silhuette of what looked like a man in a black cloak. She looked at him with pleading eyes, she wanted help. She stood up straight for one moment before fainting. She hoped he caught her.
((Pointer, Kinda hard to read your post in black. ^_^ ))
.The Dark One. - February 8, 2007 01:37 AM (GMT)
Dark looked at the woman as soon as she hit his range of site. He saw that she wasn't ready to be in a desert of any kind. She was just passing by without what is needed to survive there. He looked to his side away from the girl down the other side of the hill. "They are coming" He said in a low voice. He quickly ran away from the direction that he last looked and went to where the girl was. He ran by picking her up as he ran and kept running. His cloak flapping back with the sandy wind he didn't stop running till they made it to a hole in the ground. It wasn't a quick sand hold from years back or anything of the sory but a hold in the ground that looked too deep to be covered with sand, Dark jumped in. He walked up to a litle end with a cold water little spring coming out of the very center of the undeground room. He put her right next to it. "Drink some of that, it will make you feel better" He told the girl after he moved her around a little to bring her back. He went to the entrance or the hole they came in through to look outside. "One more day without help, this is just great" Dark said to himself."I Can't Believe This" He was in that place to save his life from whatever was outside. He stopped looking out the hole and walked up to the girl that was at the little water sprout. "You okay?" He asked her while lookind straght at her.
Musa Saphire - February 8, 2007 01:44 AM (GMT)
Musa heard words, but they were vague, she woke up next to a water spout, a creature in a dark cloak and bright eyes was looking at her. Her eyes went big and, as a reflex she tried to slap it across the face. But the water was far to tempting, she drank until she couldnt drink one more drop. She looked up at the figure in front of her. "What is going on?" She demanded. "Who are those people!? AND WHY am I in a hole?" She said breathing heavily from anger and panic.
.The Dark One. - February 8, 2007 02:05 AM (GMT)
Dark looked at the woman on the ground, "Well, we could start by the fact that this hole is the only think keeping us apart from what ever is outside and death. As for what is going on, we have a huge bug problem, Huge bug problem!" He told her while walking to a corner of the underground room as he kept talking. "I've been down here for days with only water to live on, I need to get across to find my sister that was taken by some strange man into some castle i've never seen here before. But before I get to get I need to get out of here and to do that I need to walk for a few day to reach that castle. Every afternoon some bugs come out of the ground and run around this area, i'm not sure what they are or how they got here I just know that they are big and anything with sand seems to give them power. I'm stuck here, you on the other hand. You some how made it this far and don't seem to have put up any kind of a strugle. How would that be?" Dark explained with a question at the very end. "As for the people, which people would this be?"
Musa Saphire - February 8, 2007 03:43 AM (GMT)
She was slightly confused then raised her eye brows, but then the word bug registered. "BUGS!" Musa shot up and tried to climb onto the strange man to get away from the bugs. But their seemed to be none at the moment so she stood up in front of him confidently."If you want me to struggle, I'll struggle." She said.
And yes, she could struggle, kick, slap, scrape if needed. And the fact that he was asking made her more mad, infact his whole attitude made her mad. But she decided to deal with it. She went back over to the spring to get water, turning her back for only a second.
.The Dark One. - February 8, 2007 06:13 AM (GMT)
"water doing much for you?" Asked Dark trying to start a conversation being that he hasn't had one in days. He hasn't even seen a person in all those days till now. "You already know what i'm doing here and the reason I haven't gone back the easy way which is also no longer easy, More of a one way now. But what is your story? Why and how have you made it this far without even being ready for the desert insects or the desert? How did you make it this far to start with? Dark couldn't stop talking, he just kept going without even trying. More like the words were just rushing out of his mouth to reach someone. Dark got up to go quiet and started walking arond the underground room which was more like a cave with water. "You going to say anything?" He said as he walked slowly around to keep himself from saying too much more.
Musa Saphire - February 9, 2007 01:04 AM (GMT)
Musa nodded. "Thank you for bringing me to water......I was scared. So, I left the place I came from and ran into the desert, I think it was my pain that kept me going. If that makes sense. Untill eventually I was so far into the desert I decided to keep on going, and I was unaware of the fact their there are desert BUGS." She said cringing when she said the word bugs. She hated them. They grossed her out. Luckly in the cave it wasnt near as hot as it was outside, and they had water so it was less misserable. She sat down on the floor and put her head back on the rock of the wall and sighed.
.The Dark One. - February 9, 2007 05:32 AM (GMT)
"You ran all the way over here in one hole move? You had to stop some whereright?" Dark asked while watching her while she sat. Dark didn't stop walking himself, he was happy to have someone else in there finally and maybe even help on figuring out what to do about the big bug problem. Those things were taking over every time they came out. Dark tried fighting them once but he didn't get too far, there were too many of those things and his fighting did not make a difference to the bugs numbers or ever keep the bugs down for too long. Any one that looked to be dead would shortly after get right back up. Dark actually found the cave underground by accident and the bugs were too big to get in so this was the only place that he would be safe. He didn't plan on either seeing those things or even ending inside an underground cave in a hole. The whole situation wa unexpected, but atleast now he had someone to talk to. But she didn't see to be much of a talker herself. "You don't say much do you?" Dark asked hoping that it would get her to say a little more. He was going crazy to just hear the voice of someone that could ell something, anyone that would make sense. Even his usual thoughts to kill anything that could breathe were not in his head, he could get along with anyone at that time. He could get along with the nicest, weakest or even dumbest person and not care. To his luck he had a girl that seemd smart other than for her going to the desert but as for the rest she looked compleatly fine and smart. He was hoping it would be as it seemed, he needed someone to talk to, or justto hear someone talk.
Musa Saphire - February 10, 2007 12:58 AM (GMT)
Musa turned to him. He seemed eager that their was another form of life in the desert other than bugs, like he hasnt seen anyone else in ages. She smiled at him. She wasnt quite in the mood to talk, but because he seemed so happy to see someone else she did. "Well, I do talk, but you must give me some slack, I just ran a while in the desert, and as you can imagine, my voice isnt quite the way it should be. We didnt introduce ourselves properly. I'm Musa Saphire. Half Angel." She curtsied and put her hair back knowing that in those conditions her dark brown hair probably didnt look its best, but it was worth a try. She smiled broadly and held her hand out for him to shake.
.The Dark One. - February 11, 2007 10:12 PM (GMT)
Dark looked at her while she talked and listened to her explain why she wasn't talking to much and who she was. As soon as she was done talking her part Dark talked in return. "I am Dark or as known by others The Dark One, I have had one or two call be by TDO aswell." Dark put his hand out to shake hers and he did so. He looked at her wasted as she was with the heat from outside and how she had been running adding on to her energy loss. "I am surprised than anyone still well and alive can go this far into the desert without dying half way through. It is something not many will ever be able to do. That is a great accomplishment." He told her talking about how she had gone to far for any living thing.
Musa Saphire - February 11, 2007 11:59 PM (GMT)
Musa knew that going through the desert was stupid, and she herself, was suprised that she had made it through, but she porbably would have died had not dark taken her to this cave. "I know, I'm very lucky. Thank you by the way for helping me. For taking me here to water." She said after shaking his hand. "And when will the bugs come, because I'm going to tell you now, I'm going to freak out. I am going to spaz."
.The Dark One. - February 14, 2007 11:02 PM (GMT)
Dark listened as she thanked him and he didn't say anything in return to it but when she asked when the bugs were going to come, that brought up a question in his mind for himself to figure out. He didn't really know. "I'm not sure but the bugs always go over this cave. They don't seem to go in here, they travel the most part of the desert but never come in here. I was here years ago and I don't remember seeing any any of these bugs running around. They don't belng here but seem to be here either way. It's something which I don't know." He told her as he asked himself why it was. It made no sense to Dark that there would be those huge bugs everywhere in the desert but not one would enter that cave. It even had ater and they still didn't seem to walk in it. This was something that would take Dark alot of thought to figure out. He had already thought it to be the water itself before but he tried using that against the bugs and they only get bigger with it. There had to be a reason why they wouldn't go in that cave and Dark needed to know so he could use what ever it was to save his sister. He wasn't ganna give up on her with just a few bugs in the way, He didn't give up against armys of Pirates or gangs of the undead, not even for compleat attacks of whole cities going against him. He would make sure to fight the whole way again those big bugs, they were no more than a smart line of pests that needed to be extinguished and Dark would make sure to be the one doing that.
