Title: The Journey ***Part One***
Description: open for anyone to reply
Musa Saphire - February 3, 2007 05:22 AM (GMT)
Musa wandered through the market, she was getting ready for her journy to the temple of light. She had magic of light and traveled their when she needed to. The journy ahead was a long one, she needed supplies such as a nother set of clothes, her dress now would be no good to travel in, food, a tent, and some other things.
Musa approched a shop with a female standing behind the desk, a veriety of traveling clothes were laid down, she chose a pair of pants and a button down shirt. The shopkeeper told her the total and handed her her new clothes, she pulled out her pouch to give the woman the money. The woman nodded gratefully and handed over the clothes, Musa put them in her pack and went to the other shops to get food, a tent, pillows, blankets, etc.
Musa began to walk, she was only one mile away from one of Lomedor's many ports, she sighed and began her trip.
Nomadae - February 3, 2007 03:16 PM (GMT)
A figure, no more than a shadow it seemed, moved quickly through the buildings. She was hired to kill someone in a particular inn, in a world she knew nothing about, but she was keen on her assignment, and would be payed rather handsomely for the job. Blood money, her employer called it. She liked the sound of it. Blood money...
She weaved silently in the market, keeping her black wings under her cloak so she could not bring any attention. Her eyes darted from one stall to another, trying to spot a particular female that would show her the way to the inn. Her dark eyes flashed in the sunlight as she saw feathers, disappearing into the crowd. Was it another of her kind? Was this a coincedence? That someone llived on this world had a kind of relation to her?
The assignment shoved to the back of her mind, she now focused on finding the person. The angel. The sister, or brother, perhaps... Maybe...
She finally caught sight of what she wanted and weaved in and out the busy crowds towards the feathered figure. She caught its arm and dragged the figure into the nearby alley and turned it around to see who she was speaking to.
She saw a pleasant tanned face with striking green eyes. She looked up and down the figure's skinny figure and saw she was a woman... Like I am...
"Who are you?" she said softly, her voice in a soft huskiness
Musa Saphire - February 4, 2007 07:21 PM (GMT)
She felt like some one was watching her. But she tried her best to get ready because she needed to get to the temple of angels as quickly as possible so she simply ignored it. But it still nagged at her mind when what looked like an angel was following her. She was curious to know why, but curisotiy killed the cat, so she didnt. But she couldnt really escape it when a woman pulled her into an alley and demanded to know who she was. Her only problem was she didn know exactly how to awnser that question. Her wings poked out from under her white hooded cape.
"I'm musa saphire, half angel." She said with a tone of worry in her voice.
Rafael - February 9, 2007 01:47 AM (GMT)
Rafael stood on the roof, looking over the city. He jumped to another roof and then he saw in the alley what seemed to be two women both with wings. Intrigued, He crouched down and looked down, observing. He was on his way out of the city to meet some friends in the Air Temple.
Musa Saphire - February 9, 2007 02:42 AM (GMT)
Musa stood infront of the woman waiting for her to say something. Her wings were like her own, but black. Black as night. But they looked just as radient.
Nomadae - February 10, 2007 09:30 AM (GMT)
Her eyes narrowed suspiciously...
"I'm Musa Saphire, half angel," said the female angel. How could she become an angel? Was she not the only one? Or was what the witch said untrue?
The Rauko heard a thud above her and she looked towards the sky:
A male figure was outlined by the morning sun. She stood on the rooftop, looking down on the two women. The Rauko did not want or expect comapany but this was an unlikely morning...
Her hand flew to the hilt of her sword. She did not know if the man was hostile or if he was a friend of the woman that she held... 'captive'. Her dark eyes glinted in the sunlight as she said, "How are you? Are you a friend of this woman?"
She took hold of the Musa's wrist and she dragged her towards the Rauko's chest, her katana drawn and at her throat. "You better know who you are or she dies."
Rafael - February 10, 2007 06:24 PM (GMT)
Rafael shrugged. He hadn't wanted to be discovered, but nothing too bad could happen so he glided down to the ground. "Of course I know who I am. I'm Rafael." He said. "And no, I do not know this woman. I was on my way out of the city when I saw you two in this alley."
Rafael had noticed the drawn katana and stood ready in case she decided to attack. He had heard of no Half-Angel, Angel, or Arch Angel ever having black wings.
Musa Saphire - February 10, 2007 09:42 PM (GMT)
Musa watched the girl who hadnt said anything for a while. Then turned back to the man. He seemed very athleticly fit, blonde hair blue eyes type. She slightly rolled her eyes. "I am musa." She said introducing herself."And yes we are in an alley. What? think two girls cant take care of themselves?" She asked a little bit more tempermently then she had intended. But, she would just have to see what blondies reactoin to her reply would be. She hopped he didnt take her sudden outburst the wrong way, she did that kind of thing allot.
Rafael - February 12, 2007 02:57 AM (GMT)
"Well, I never said you couldn't take care of yourself and I would have just as soon left, its just she noticed me. And by the situation, I think you could probably use a hand since she has a katana to your throat. But if you want to try and get out of this by yourself, that's fine too. I could care less either way." Rafael said in a way that truly expressed how little he cared.
Musa Saphire - February 12, 2007 03:04 AM (GMT)
Musa pushed past both of them. Then turned her head back to say one more thing. "I gotta go." She went back and adjusted the backpack on her back. She had a long journey ahead of her. She was soon out of the alley and continuing her journey to the sanctuary of angels. It would be a very long and tiering journey, luckly she could fly over half the way. Yup, lucky. Little did she know of the danger that was awaiting her thier.
Rafael - February 12, 2007 03:14 AM (GMT)
Rafael watched as Musa left the alley. "Good day to you then." He told the Rauko. Rafael then jumped into the air, rising on an updraft and landed on the building two blocks down.
He was soon near the walls of the city and then noticed Musa again. What an odd coincidence that I should run into her twice in one day. Rafael thought to himself. Since she seemed to be heading in the direction of the gate that led out of the city, Rafael followed on the roofs of the buildings on the right side of the street.
Musa Saphire - February 12, 2007 03:23 AM (GMT)
Musa was almost to the boarder, she saw many people angels, deamonds, vampires, every kind of species you could think of. She simled. Musa loved this realm its people, and flora, everything about it facinated her. She looked up at the sky and smiled. Out of the corner of her eye she thought she could see the man that had previously talked to her. She walked over to the building and took a shot even though people may thing that she's crazy. "Come down here." She said with her hands on her hips.
Rafael - February 12, 2007 09:09 PM (GMT)
Rafael sighed. This was going to be a long day if he couldn't even stay hidden for more than a few seconds. He glided down and stood in front of Musa. "So we meet again." Rafael said with a wry smile. "What a... coincidence, huh?" He continued and put his hands behind his back, clasped.
Musa Saphire - February 12, 2007 11:31 PM (GMT)
Musa kept her hands on her hips. She figured that for some weird reason he had felt compelled to follow her. But for the time being, she would not ask why. The dock was completely oblivoius to a man who had just jumped off a building and landed it. "Yes. It is a coincidence. So......." She slightly uneasily, she didnt like akward pauses. But one was on its way. So, she just stood waiting for him to say whatever he felt he needed to say.
Rafael - February 13, 2007 12:35 AM (GMT)
"Well.... I was simply on my way to the Air temple when I noticed you were on your way out from here. And since I was on my way out of this city, I had decided to not follow you but simply head in the same direction as you." Rafael said. It was true enough. He had been on his way out of the city but instead of heading the way he was going to first he changed direction.
Musa Saphire - February 13, 2007 04:26 PM (GMT)
"Uh-Hu." Musa said. His explination had been a good one, he couold think on his feet. She gave him credit for that. She put her white hood back on and looked at the man in front of her. "We should introduce ourselves, I am musa. And you are?" She curtsied when she said her own name. He seemed polite so she was pretty sure he would awnser the question. She held out her hand for him to shake.
Rafael - February 13, 2007 04:37 PM (GMT)
"I'm Rafael." He said and bowed to Musa and then shook her hand. "So, where are you going to?" Rafael inquired. He had to admit that he was curious. From the looks of her, she seemed to be a half-angel because her wings didn't look to large from what he could tell. He glanced over his shoulder to make sure no one was following her... or him.
Musa Saphire - February 14, 2007 12:09 AM (GMT)
"The sanctuary of angels. I need to go their to see my fellow angels and clear my mind. Very nice to meet you Rafeal." Musa said truthfully. Yes, she was going their to think about things, clear her mind. When she saw Rafael look over his shoulder she perked an eye brow, he seemed sligthly paranoid. But she would ignore it. The fact was she should be paranoid too, she has many people that would love to either kill or eat her, so she should watch her back. "And yourself? "She asked.
Rafael - February 14, 2007 05:03 PM (GMT)
"Like I said, I am off to the Air temple to pay homage to the gods of Wind and Lightning. It is from them that I get most of my powers." Rafael said. He could tell that the angel that had held Musa was not an angel. He knew that one angel wouldn't threaten the life of another unless one of them was evil.
Musa Saphire - February 14, 2007 11:51 PM (GMT)
Musa felt like she was getting no where. "I see. I get my powers...." She didnt finish, she got her powers from several differant places and not all of them you would see an angel going to. She didnt want him to think she was anymore an angel that he was, she may be half, but she is still worthy of wings, flight, etc. She was ready for a retort and braced herself for an insult that may come.
Rafael - February 15, 2007 09:18 PM (GMT)
"Hmm." Rafael said. "Well shall we get moving again? We can talk while we walk." He still wasn't sure if anyone was following them. He just couldn't tell. Rafael figured: The sooner we get out of the streets and onto the open road the better.
Musa Saphire - February 21, 2007 03:29 AM (GMT)
"Ok, I can do that." Musa said putting her white hood back on and walking slowly through the market with Rafeal by her side. "Is their anything you would like to know about me?" She asked getting all that out of the way. "My name is Musa by the way, I dont think we were properly introduced." Musa said with a curtsie. "Very nice to meet your aquaintance." She said being polite. He seemed polite enough, she should return the favor. She turned her head to him, still walking, and smiled.
