Title: Quelling boredom
Description: and getting back to activity...

Darkfire - February 1, 2007 10:11 PM (GMT)
It had been long, far too long since Darkfire had had any fun here in Arda. The whole thing with the Armies of the Abyss had been a terrible failure, he'd heard nothing of Ita and her forces' planned attack against the Apocalypse Alliances that he was set to betray, and thus that had left him with little to do but wait, having to avoid those do-gooders that seemed to be showing up.

But as night fell on the place known as the Sanctuary of Angels, he couldn't simply sit around any longer. The red-furred fox with blood-red, piercing eyes was in effect at his breaking point, his eyes themselves seeming to glow faintly in the falling darkness. His hands were out of their usual places in his pockets, fully revealed to be clawed and slightly blazing with a black, though completely harmless, flame, a sign of his own resurrection.

Coming down from the roof of a building near the very center of the city, he struck his claws down the back of an unsuspecting angel that happened to be passing by, perhaps headed for home, slashing up their back and cutting through their wings, making them useless.

As the angel fell to the ground, clutching their back in pain, they looked up to him with prying eyes, eyes that clearly wished to bring out guilt in him, find out why he'd suddenly attacked without notice, without reason. Darkfire himself simply smirked evilly, licking the blood off one of his stained claws and staring malevolently down at the angel with his piercing eyes.

"Still alive, huh? Suppose that's good...maybe you can drag yourself off and get me some fresh victims," Darkfire said, a dark, somewhat growling voice that could send shivers down the spines of the weak. Which was exactly the way he liked it...

Musa Saphire - February 2, 2007 01:00 AM (GMT)
Musa was pulled down by what looked like a demon, her wings were hurt, and bloody she felt pain shoot through her whole body as she fell to the hard ground. She was an innocent victim just taking a fly. She panted on the ground for a moment her eyes becoming blood shot her face getting pale. Her hair fell over her face as she breathed hevily. He began to speak, this sent shivers down her acheing back. She looked up at him and did her best to stand up and seem confidant.

"What do you want?"

Darkfire - February 3, 2007 10:12 PM (GMT)
Well, not only alive but alive enough to talk back, it seemed the girl was. That definitely made things a bit more interesting...

"Want? Who's to say there was anything I wanted from attacking you, or that for some reason I attacked you specifically? You simply happened to be nearby, and I enjoy the sight and taste of blood," he said, smirking widely, his canine fangs shone to their fullest.

Of course, it wouldn't be much fun for her to lay there and bleed to death...she needed to go somewhere to get help, maybe direct someone his way, or cry for help, or do something to get the attention of others, get them over here. Come on, this was the Sanctuary of Angels, a paradise for all those do-gooders out there. Where was some knight to come along and try to save the damsel when one was needed?

Chuckling softly at this, he looked around the small street they were on, trying to catch sight or scent of anyone or anything else nearby. Scoffing after failing on this count, he turned back to the girl. "Still standing there? Why don't you get yourself to some sort of hospital or something, get those wings of yours taken care of."

Musa Saphire - February 4, 2007 07:31 PM (GMT)
Musa stood up straight her wings ached when she did, but she didnt care. And besides what does this guy think I'm going to do? Musa thought. Go off and cry for help like some girl who cant take care of her self? Nope, musa was not like that. Damsel in distress neededing a guy in shinning aurmor to come and get her, what ever. When she saw his fangs a shiver went down her spine.

"You enjoy tlhe sight of blood and pain? The taste?" She said slightly smiling. Attempting to cover the pain.

"You want me to go and get my wings healed? I must say for people like you thats a first. But I can take care of myself thank you." She said a little unconfidant, the truth was, she wasnt the best fighter in the world.

Darkfire - February 5, 2007 05:11 PM (GMT)
That smile he found somewhat strange...why would a person in her position and condition be smiling? Not that he cared. She wasn't of much use to him just standing here and bleeding, apparently not about to go for any sort of help.

"Tch...whatever. You're not doing me any good just standing here, so come on," he said, in a very slightly annoyed tone, shoving his hands into his pockets and beginning to walk off, stopping after a moment and looking back to see if she was following. How annoying...helping someone just to get someone to notice him, and thus have some fun. He should've waited and found someplace with more people around here.

Oh well...he'd make this worthwhile for himself yet.

Musa Saphire - February 5, 2007 11:17 PM (GMT)
She didnt want to fight. But she was very used to talking her way out of things, it worked every time. But what puzzled her is that he was talking about how he likes the taste of blood, she was bleeding all over the place. Their was plenty for him. She saw him begin to walk away, good thing she had gotten her way out of it. But other than the fact that he nearly murdered her, their was something about him that intrigued her. She was going to yell to him to come back. She began to yell.

"Wai-"
But she fainted and landed hard on the floor. Her dark brown hair fell into a pool of her own blood, her shinny hair now became tained, and ruby red blood was making its way to her skin.

Darkfire - February 6, 2007 04:23 PM (GMT)
Sighing and pressing a hand to his forehead in exasperation, he watched as the woman finally collapsed on the ground. Looked like she'd used whatever energy she'd had left by standing. Well, if he was going to use this to his advantage, he couldn't by all rights leave her here, where nobody would notice. But then again...

Smirking faintly, he came up with an idea that could work well enough, regardless of whether the person he found saw that he was evil or not. Walking off while the woman remained unconscious, he wandered in the direction of the square, hiding his hands in his pockets and activating an illusion to make himself look like Kai, his old blue-furred, green-eyed counterpart, as he'd done before.

Finding someone in the square quickly enough, he acted innocent, something he was quite good at when he needed to be, explaining about what happened. Just as he planned, without further question the man he'd found nodded and followed him to the street where the woman lay, kneeling over her and checking her out before starting a silent chant, his hand resting an inch above the center of the wound, glowing white, a light that steadily transferred into it, sealing it up, as Darkfire stood behind him, allowing the illusion to fade, supposedly watching. For now, at least.

Musa Saphire - February 7, 2007 12:35 AM (GMT)
She felt her white wings begin to heal, blood replaced, feathers white again. She opened her eyes and saw an unknown man and her attacker smirking at her, she felt very tempted to stick out her tounge so thats exactly what she did.

She stood back up almost fully refreashed and nodded to the man who healed her. "Thank you very much." She did a slight bow then motioned for him to leave. The man did as he was told and walked back into the square.

She turned back to her attacker and put her hands on her hips. "Why did you do that?" She asked slightly forcefuly. "Why did you have some one come and save me!?" She was, in all honesty completely confused, if, he was going to kill her did he have a healer save her? Only to put her through more pain? She would soon find out.

Darkfire - February 7, 2007 04:36 PM (GMT)
Grumbling slightly as the man walked back to the square when he was done, Darkfire smirked lightly, muttering a few incomprehensible words and creating a pair of illusionary, mangled spirits of angels to follow behind, watching as the man quickly noticed them and panicked, running away. There was some fun, at least.

Smirking at the woman's question as he turned back to her, he felt he may as well give the simple explanation. "Because it was of some use to me to get someone over here. That was what the attack was really about to begin with, although next time I suppose I should probably pick a more populated area. At least I got a bit of fun out of it," he said, glancing back in the direction that the healer had ran, though they'd since disappeared from sight. It would be so much better if some knight or something of the like came along, though right now it didn't look like that was going to happen. He could perhaps attack again, but that seemed so pointless, and he'd already done it. Looking back to the girl with a calm enough look now on his features, he wondered if perhaps she'd still prove useful to him.

Musa Saphire - February 7, 2007 07:53 PM (GMT)
Musa was becoming very frustrated with this man. He seemed like attacking her was just something he does. And she was probably just a helpless victim. She turned to him her black dress flowing behind her. She wanted to wipe that smug look of his face. She scowled then slapped him across the face, her hit left a bright red hand mark. She smiled and tilted her head. She called him a curse word then turned to leave but.......

Darkfire - February 8, 2007 05:04 PM (GMT)
Raising a brow slightly as the woman slapped him across the face, cursing at him, Darkfire simply smirked again. Still a bit of that, if somewhat foolish, fire in her that she'd displayed even shortly after being attacked. Not exactly very...angelic of her, though even so it didn't feel like she was a full angel. Some sort of mix, probably of human, though it wasn't as if he could accurately tell.

"Feisty, aren't we?" he mocked, the smirk still etched on his snout. "What's wrong? Don't like being used? Don't like the fact that you're still alive?"

Provoking her? Of course he was provoking her. It made things more interesting that way. Sure, it was fun enough for others to be cowering in terror, or suffering and dying, but it was always more fun when they tried to fight back, when they resisted. Letting his words sink in, he stepped quickly in front of her, meeting her eyes with his piercing, cold stare, seeing how she'd react. Fun indeed...

Musa Saphire - February 9, 2007 12:35 AM (GMT)
Musa looked at his cold eyes, her green ones fell to the floor. Then back up at him. She breathed heavily scared half to death for a moment, just for a moment, then the words that he had said sunk in. Used? Still Alive, Fiesty!? Now the middle part, she didnt care about. But the fiesty!? That, to her was a little bit of a flirt, so she began to get angry, then she remembered the word used. She now, was now quivering with anger. She punched, kicked and scarped and the animal infront of her.

Darkfire - February 9, 2007 05:06 PM (GMT)
Weaving from side to side on occasion, he easily dodged the woman's reckless attacks, getting essentially the reaction he'd suspected, though he hadn't completely planned on the flailing about at him. A minor thing, nonetheless, and he quickly enough caught one of her wrists in his hand, holding it firmly but not too hard. He'd show her that she could fight back all she wanted, but it wouldn't get her anywhere, not against him. But before he spoke, he came forward for a moment shortly after catching her wrist, kissing her fully on the lips for a moment before pulling back to where he'd been standing before.

"Pretty chaotic and quick to anger for an angel, or maybe half angel. I figured all of you would fight with 'honor' and all that such stuff, striking down evil and following the law or whatever it is you do," he said, continuing on with his very subtle manipulation, feeling it was probably fine to let go of her wrist now. See what she'd do next, how she'd react...that was basically all he'd been doing for a short while now during this little meeting, and it was turning out pretty fun.

Musa Saphire - February 9, 2007 06:54 PM (GMT)
Musa stood in complete shock, first he attempted to murder her, second, he got help to save her, then he grabs her wrist, THEN he kisses her. She didnt know what to do. So, for the a minute she did nothing but stand their. Did she kiss him back? Well maybe.
But then she became very angry with him, how dare he! How dare he try to kill her then kiss her. She wanted to talk, she began to talk, but all that came out were a few letters that she put together hoping to make words. She controled the element of light, so, she decided she would have to summon her power. A ball of light formed in her hand. She flung it at him as hard as she could, then angrily walked over to him. "What is your problem!? And just because I'm half angel dosnt mean that I have to be goody-goody all the time."
Night began to come, the sun left. Her wings became transperant. Then, they vanished. Becaues Musa is a half angel, for her, she can only have her wings in the day, but at night, they dissapear.

Darkfire - February 10, 2007 10:56 PM (GMT)
Caught slightly off-guard, Darkfire felt the ball of light hit him straight in the chest, slightly winding him and sending him back a few steps, though he simply chuckled softly, especially after the rather delayed, probably heavily debated reaction. If nothing else, it was confirmed for him that she was indeed a half-angel, the other half likely human since she didn't have any other distinctive features he could notice besides the wings.

Then, making things perhaps more interesting, those very wings disappeared, probably some sort of side-effect or whatnot of only being half angel.

"True enough, I guess. Suppose it's probably about time for a drink and some food, though," he said, and began to walk off, shortly after turning his head to look back. "You coming? Don't yet know anyone that would pass up a free meal."

Sure it seemed like he was being nice, like he had some good in him or something of the sort, but he planned to play this little encounter as far as he could take it.

Musa Saphire - February 10, 2007 11:53 PM (GMT)
Musa smiled when he was sent a few feet back. That'll teach the idiot. She though. The next words he said suprised her, but naturally she was suspicous. He attacked her then kissed her, not telling what would happen next. But after their little encounter she was hungry and thirsty so, she had no choice, she caught up to him. She just realized how much her purple corset was killing her. She breathed heavily and put a hand to her stomach. They walked on for half a block. She thought she felt his hand reaching for hers a couple times, but she ignored it.

Darkfire - February 11, 2007 03:43 PM (GMT)
Glancing over, he smirked very lightly on noticing that she'd caught up to him, noticing that she seemed to be having a little trouble with breathing, probably thanks to a corset or something of the sort.

Ignoring that, he found a local tavern open after they'd walked a short distance, walking inside and holding the door open for the woman afterward, not to be polite but simply because he felt like it. When they were both inside, he wandered over to an empty table nearby, ignoring the glances he was receiving, shoving a chair out lightly with his tail before sitting in the one next to it.

"So, what's your name, anyway?" he asked, glancing over to his...companion. "Mine's Darkfire."

Musa Saphire - February 11, 2007 07:54 PM (GMT)
She nodded a thanks when he opened the door for her. The tavern was slightly mucky and was loud with several people talking at once. She took a a seat at a table and ordered some wine. She was in desperate need of a drink after her hard day. She ran her hands through her dark brown hair. "Musa. Darkfire. I like it." She said being honest, she wasnt being nice to him or anything......just honest.

Darkfire - February 12, 2007 05:10 PM (GMT)
Raising a brow slightly to the woman, wondering what she was getting at there, he simply shrugged, taking a sip of the ale he ordered when the waitress came back with it, scanning lightly around the tavern. Not many people inside, and they now seemed to have turned their attention away from him. Not a bad idea, to be sure, given that he didn't like much attention when he was taking it easy after having some fun at times like this.

"So you live around here or something?" he asked, turning his gaze back to Musa. Bah, polite, meaningless conversation...oh well, it wasn't like he had much better to do.

Musa Saphire - February 12, 2007 10:47 PM (GMT)
She was so confused now he was making small talk? Well the best way to figure out what he was doing musa figured was just to play along. "No. Just visiting. What are you doing here?" She asked. She reallly did wonder why he was here, at the sanctuary of angels.
She had been visiting the sanctuary of angels, because she was half angel musa thought it would give her some time to clear her mind. Far from clearing her mind had happened, now her mind felt more clutered then before.

Darkfire - February 13, 2007 03:21 PM (GMT)
Darkfire simply shrugged in response to her question. In part he just wanted to have some fun, cause some havok, though really he was just wandering and killing time, waiting for something interesting to happen, either with his guild or something else. Not that anything would anytime soon, it seemed like...

"Just visiting as well, I suppose. Don't often have much of a reason for being anywhere, I simply wander and do what I wish," he said. Granted, that meant he was relatively often bored like he had been before coming to this place, but one couldn't have fun all the time, he supposed.

Musa Saphire - February 13, 2007 04:14 PM (GMT)
Musa looked at darkfire things werent near as exciting has they had been before, and she kinda wished that he will still trying to kill her, at least that was alittle fun..... So she would have to make her own fun. Musa looked arround the bar and saw nothing of intereset. Nothing but dust, darkfire and herself. She sighed in frustration and put her feet up on the table again to think. Her skirt slid a little past her knees and showed her black knee high boots.

I could get something to eat.....But I'm not a real vampire and I havent dont that kind of thing yet.....Musa thought to herself. She played with her vampire tooth earings, if she were to press her finger against the sharp just lightly it would draw blood, so she was carefull not to.

She turned back to darkfire. "A wanderer huh? Do you wander with a purpose or aimlessly? I do that sometimes......"

Darkfire - February 14, 2007 05:21 PM (GMT)
"Basically aimlessly, I guess, at least for the moment. Sometimes I have something to do somewhere but usually I just go around to find a little...entertainment," he replied, ordering a steak from the waitress as she walked by.

Noticing the earrings Musa had, however, he smirked lightly. A half-angel with a dark item like that...that was unusual enough. Leaning back in his chair, he waited in his seat for now, not really sure what to say or do at the moment. A slightly awkward situation for him, thus, but nothing he really minded.

Musa Saphire - February 14, 2007 11:38 PM (GMT)
Musa looked at Darkfires smirk. Something she wished to slap off again, but chose against it. "What are you smirking at?" She said. She thought about it, it could be one of the following:
1. The attracitve blonde haired blue eyed waitress.
2. The fact that her skirt has slid up a little past her knee.
3. Or because of her magical items.
But she didnt want to look like a complete idiot so, she simpley waited for his reply. Musa hated it when people smirked. One because it ment they knew something she didnt, or, they liked her. OR they looked attractive when they smirked so it bugged her when the wouldnt stop. she couldnt decide yet why she didnt like it. But she didnt. "Well?"

Darkfire - February 15, 2007 02:58 PM (GMT)
"No reason I suppose, just a little surprised to see a dark item such as those earrings being used by a half-angel," he replied.

Shortly after, the waitress returned with the steak he ordered, which he simply grabbed and took a bite out of, not caring what anyone thought? He never had before, so why start now? And after all, he was a fox, not a human, so one could likely reasonably forgive him this...impoliteness. Thus, it didn't take him too long to finish it off, oblivious to whatever the employees still around might think.

"You gonna eat anything or what?" he asked between bites, glancing over to Musa, who hadn't yet ordered anything it seemed to him. Granted, he wasn't very curious about that, but they had come here for food and drink, after all.

Musa Saphire - February 15, 2007 03:39 PM (GMT)
"Have you ever wondered what the other half of me is?" Musa asked smirking. The truth was she didnt even know, all she knew is that it wasnt human. She called the waitress back and ordered some bread and butter. She slightly cringed when she saw him eat raw meat. "Besides a full angel or a human girl when you attacked me back their would have fainted and said: 'woe is me. Where thoust be my night in shinnig armour.'" Musa said rolling her eyes. She really hated girls like that. She was a strong fighter. The waitress came back with her own food and she tore into just like she was a fox herself slightly embarassed she wipped her mouth off with a napkin and brushed the crumbs off her corset.

Darkfire - February 15, 2007 05:46 PM (GMT)
Darkfire shrugged at her question, never really caring too much of what race someone was, though most of the time he could discern it by scent and appearance. Nodding slightly at Musa's next statement as he tore into his food, he knew quite well that many people, particularly females, were like that. It was entertaining on occasion, but sometimes it simply got old.

Chuckling softly as she began to eat after ordering some bread and butter, noting the rather impolite fashion in which she was eating, not that much unlike his own, he couldn't pass up the opportunity to comment on it.

"Truth be told, I generally don't care about...well, anything, really," he said, chuckling slightly before continuing. "After what I just saw, seems like I might be rubbing off on you a little. Wouldn't that be interesting..."

Musa Saphire - February 15, 2007 07:33 PM (GMT)
Musa raised her eyebrows. "Ha ha ha very funny." Musa clipped on her vampire tooth earings. She was pretty sure they had a side effect, she was putting them on more and more lately and that blood from the meat on darkfires plate didnt look to bad. But she tried her best not to give into the magic of the earings the power. She began to panick so she ordered some wine from the passing waitress. She looked back at darkfire her green eyes gleaming.
