I only use Today's Active Topics. That link is a godsend.

I don't use the quick navigation bar at all, in fact I hate the thing; it's annoying.

I use the Active Topics page, but not the New Posts link. ^_^

My guess is that you use Internet Explorer? It jumps a bit when scrolling, but it's because IE stinks. :grr: If you have Firefox it doesn't jump any so you don't even really notice it if it's minimized. ^_^ I love the quick nav, I live off of it. :ph34r:

I'm on firefox but when that quick nav bar comes out it takes up like 1/4 of the page; making it highly annoying and impossible to try to read board names.

I don't actually use any of those buttons. It's actually a bit cumbersome when I think about it because sometimes because I move my mouse too far over trying to click on something and it pops up in my way. Then it wont go away when you move the mouse away from it.

Click inside the box (but not on a link) to make the box go away again :)

I think the only time I clicked that link was accidentally, when I was actually aiming my mouse for Today's Active Topics.

I know how to make the box go away, I just think that if it's going to be there it should be like the Autohide setting on the Task Bar of your computer. When you go near it it should pop up, and when you move away from it then it should go back to where it came from. >>;

The nav bar is the top ten reason of dead kittens in my neighborhood. Let's just leave it at that.

Don't be hating on the ENTIRE nav bar, most of it's pretty useful! Instead of scrolling down the page, click on the quick links. And instead of searching each and every new post, click on the almighty "Today's Active Topics" link.
