The waves gently carressed the white gold shores and chalk cliffs of the secluded lagoon. The world spirit whispered about places of such beauty and tranquility but few could ever grasp the peace that was held within such areas.
And this day would be no different. For today, this eutopian lagoon would play host to the end of an age. The final conflict of the Horse Lords.

Vaul stepped out onto the beach, walking slowly to the centre, and awaited the arrival of his blood brother.

"Meet me at the Faded Lagoon on the Yavieba. There we will end this... one way or another."

His brothers words still rang fresh in his ears. So this is where it will finish. An oath set a lifetime ago. Would it be broken today or renewed?

There will be only two outcomes. Death or absolution... but which? That was for the fates to decide.

Gabriel stood tall on the raft, looking across the shore to the solitary figure walking back and forth. He grinned, recognising the impatience in his blood brothers step. Grinning at the thought of what would soon come he stepped off onto the shore, and swiftly regretted it as his legs gave way.

"Damned grounds slipping away from me" he grumbled, getting to his feet slowly. Everything about the brothers was different. Their fighting styles, their alliegances, their damned attitudes to life.

With a mighty roar he ran from the beach towards his brother, leaving his hammer sheathed and clenching his fists tight.
