Title: Arrival on Eä

Hùrìn - January 13, 2007 11:39 PM (GMT)
Standing on the Starboard side of the ship, Hùrìn looked out over the vast body of water at the city that the ship was bound to land in soon. It would of course be good to finally leave Aman and head towards Eä after so many years away from his homeland. Hùrìn smiled at the thought of returning, and fingered his mace, which was hanging on his belt via a small chain which held it onto his belt, making it resemble a flail, except that he could not swing it around in the same way as a flail. A sailor came to him and told him he had to go below for the landing because the sailors would be working up here to land it properly. He did so and waited there until it was time to depart. He exited the lower part of the ship and went to the deck. There the sailors were still working, but the bridge was lowered. He walked to it, and stepped off the ship enjoying the fresh breeze of the port.

Rothardan - January 14, 2007 07:24 AM (GMT)
(Hope you don't mind if I jump in?)

Meanwhile, back on the land in Port Adúnë, Rothardan was sitting on the edge of the pier contemplating all that had happend. Transported to a strange world where he had nothing, Rothardan had made up his mind what to do. He would start again, build up his weapons and magic. He had found out that the Goddess of Magic had a class which taught holy magic for advanced warriors called something like Divine Protectors.

It sounded perfect, but Rothardan couldn't join just yet. Lothlomendil wouldn't take just anyone... she would only take the select few and Rothardan would have to prove himself worthy with both might and magic before thinking about joining. One temple priestess told him to come back in about a month and see if the goddess would initiate him into the group. But he did here something interesting, that the greatest Paladin in the land was within Arda. His name was Tulcas and he lived upon the moon of Arda. Perhaps Rothardan would visit him and try to learn some magic from him.

It was then that Rothardan saw a boat in the distance that was coming in. Another boat? There was plenty of them coming in today... Rothardan got up and walked back to an area where he sat down to watch everyone coming off the boat. Maybe someone interesting would come along...

Kazul - January 14, 2007 07:48 AM (GMT)
(Mind if I join?)

Flying once again over the city of Lomedor. Though he still liked to watch the humans go about their business this time he headed toward the port that the humans had called Adune. He wasn't sure what would be there which was the main reason he wanted to look around. Reaching the edge of the city he flew toward the water. The first thing he noticed were all the boats comming and going. As he watched he began to wonder where some of the boats leaving were going to end up? They might even go to lands he had never even seen before. He would have to follow one sometime and find out. But today he was only interested in he port below. Already their were people looking up at him. He was flying alot lower then he would normaly.

Seeing an area that was unnoccupied he folded his wings in and dived straight into the water creating a rather large splash which brought some water up high enough to get a few people wet and wash over a boat nearby. Comming up where he had dived he looked around to make sure so one was knocked down or hurt. The only part of Kazul showing was his hard and part of his neck having the rest below the surface of the water. Kazul saw quite a few people comming and going, on and off boats. Kazul decided to get closer to the land to see the people better. The first person to draw his attention was a male that had a mace strapped to a chain. Kazul wasn't ready to talk to the person but he kept his eyes on him as he got off the boat. Now all that was left to wait for was to see if he or anyone else would react to his presence. He just hoped no dragon slayers were nearby.

Apanie - January 14, 2007 06:13 PM (GMT)
Apanie reveled in the cool embrace of the water. She loved it. In a way, she and the water were one. Eventually she managed to drag herself out of the water. She was here for a reason and no matter how good the water felt she needed to complete her task. Albeit that her task would take years to complete, she had been sent by the Elders to learn and observe the ways of the city. Time was not an obstacle, being an elemental she would continue living until she ceased to be, by her own choice or that of another. Slowly walking out of the water her pale blue body shimemred a bit in the sunlight. As she shook out her dark blue hair she noticed the strange looks she was recieving from those close enough to see her. apparantly the people of the city were not accustomed to someone being without clothing, even after swimming. With this in mind Apanie quickly made her way over towards her possesions which she had left by a large rock on the beach. Donning her cloak (the only clothing she possessed) she affixed her katana and it's belt about her waist and headed towards the port with the sole intention of learning. Was not not sure how but from her experiance Apanie had concluded that the best way to learn about a culture was to experience. Upon arriving at the port Apanie noticed a large boat with many people arriving. "How wonderful it would be to travel upon a boat, surrounded for miles on every side by water..."
she quietly mused to herself.

Silvexian - January 14, 2007 08:03 PM (GMT)
((I'll hop on in.))

Several quick splashes erupted and headed towards a boat. There was a loud "pow." The splashing stopped and the boat was not injured. Something poked its head out of the water. A Metavion? They're extinct! But one remained. Silvexian, whose birthday was January 2, Year 9. A slimy aqua blue hand grabbed the dock. He needed to blend in. Rapidly, the scales became skin of a human. A teenage male climbed on the dock in a black cloak. He shook his head to get the water out of his hair.
