Title: Born through Flame
Description: Open

Shades - January 7, 2007 03:29 AM (GMT)
Alone under black and beautiful night sky, lay a flame. From the distance you could have sworn the grasslands had begun to burn, but as you drew nearer the silouette would outline the shape of a man. Calm orange, and red flames cascading upwards.
It would appear strange to an onlooker how flame poured off of the "jaw" of the man only to be replaced by more flame. The firey man sat upon a large rock looking up at the stars, beside him lay a large two-handed broadsword.

From beneath the crackling of his own flame, another crackling could be made out. That of approaching feet.

Alkar - January 7, 2007 03:57 AM (GMT)
Alkar had been wandering the Salquedor Grasslands for some time now his mind pondering the things around him from the trsils of the wild animals that ran through the area to the different flowers that were blooming all around him. He had no clue as to why he had been wandering through the grasslands but they seemed to calm him after the many ordeals of his life Alkar had needed the rest.

Recently though he had grown tired of the never changing landscape that surrounded him, with its rolling hills and wildgrasses their was never much for an adventure or small fight with which to quench your never ending thirst for excitement. The night sky was the only thing he had thought to be interesting in this place but tonight hsi eyes seemed to be playing tricks on him. Off in the distance just beyond the sight of a mans eyes the elf detected the lick of flame. He settled down on his haunches wondering who was stupid enough to have a fire lit out here what with all the bandits and theives that wandered through the area looking for easy pickings.

He picked himself up off the ground and started at an east pace towards the light. Then he remembered that he had not had a good run in awhile and started to lift his feet up off the ground and with his elvish strength Alkar bound off into the night.

He approached a small hill behind the fire and crawled the rest of the way up to the crest. He peered over the edge at the fire. He saw no people sitting around it and to make it all the stranger the fire was on a rock. Then something struck him just a thought at the back of his head. The fire on the rock wasn't an ordinary fire their seemed to be a body inside of it.

This puzzle only buggered him for a few seconds before he realized that the thing in front of him was an elemental. Of all the things to see in the grasslands an elemental. He stood up and started to walk towards the fire. A few feet from it he stopped to stare at it. Then he spoke, "What brings you here o' one of fire?"

He stood their attentively waiting for this beings response wondering if it would even acknowledge his presense. He sat down on the ground and waited for its reply.

Elivmar - January 8, 2007 02:36 AM (GMT)
Elivmar crouched at the grassline, trying to keep himself out of the sight. He was hunting. He had ventured to the grasslands in hope of quiet, he was sick of the hustle and bustle of city life. He noticed what appeared to be a deer like creature.

He knocked an arrow on his bow, took aim. Suddenly the deer looked up, and bolted. Curious why the deer ran, knowing he had not been seen, looked around, staying hidden, for the source.

He noticed an Elf, he was approaching what looked like a living fire that was sitting. He had never seen such a thing, he was startled but quickly recovered. Not wanting to give away his cover he stayed hidden in the grass, waiting to see what happened. Neither of them seemed violent but one could never be to certain.
