Title: Board Changes

Lothlómendil - July 5, 2005 01:55 AM (GMT)
I am about to make some additions to the board so that the portal menu is visible on the left of the board so that you have all those handy bits of info there for you all the time. I put a lot of work into the portal the last few days, and I think that it'll be nice to have on the board too. Changing it also calls for making some changes to the width of the board, but I have tried my best to make it look right in both smaller screen sizes and larger screen resolutions like mine.

I hope to make this a permanent change, but if it becomes a burden I will remove it. So I really want to hear your feedback on this. If you could tell me about any having to scroll sideways, or long forum descriptions (like that on the temple of nature) causing a lot of silly looking verticle scrolling, or anything that doesn't look right, please let me know. It would be especially helpful if you could take a screenshot of any problems by pushing the [Print Screen] button on your keyboard, above the arrow keys. This copies a picture of your screen to your clipboard, then you can go to MS Paint or whatever program you have and paste the image in. Then you can upload your image to someplace like http://www.photobucket.com or http://www.imageshack.us .

Anyhow, let's see how it looks and please give me your opinions.

Edit: I just added it and it does seem like it has caused a lot of scrolling because of the amount of forums we have. And in other places. Don't know how much I like it, hehe. It would be handy though if I could get it to look nice, hmmm.... I suppose it was meant for those kind of boards that don't have quite so many forums.

Even though it makes scrolling down for the forums annoying, it has the links to all the different categories on it, so it should make it faster.
