Title: A day in the woods is a day going somewhere
Description: Private

Umbra - December 20, 2006 08:33 PM (GMT)
A black haired young woman walked through the Taurai Woods silently, the leaves barly cracked under her feet. The world around her was quiet, she had not said much on their journey. A shadow flew over her and she looked up and saw a raven gliding ahead scouting the world around them. She was not certian where she was going, she was with another person who was leading the way. She blew air quickly and looked around as she walked, the golden leaves crunched once in a while under her feet along with sticks and rocks.

She sighed and turned around once, "So, where are we going again?" she asked her companion although she did not expect an answer. She sighed again and shook her head. She streached for the upteenth time since they started in Estolad. She turned around again and the raven flew back and circled once. She held out her arm and the raven landed on it. "So whats new?" she asked. The raven gave a caw, and she nodded. "Well not much is changing in the landscape. A river is up ahead though, we can take a rest there. Get something to drink, and eat." she said the raven perching itself on her shoulder.

Tanya - December 20, 2006 08:50 PM (GMT)
Tanya walked with the usual perkyness in her steps. She smiled swinging her arms without any restraint and gave her feet a strong kick out to show her activeness. Umbra had been unusually quiet so far and Tanya looked at her while she blew out hard. She cocked her head curiously as Umbra's Raven flew off to see what there was to see. "So you rarely ever go adventuring do you?" she asked, it was more of a reatorical question than anything. Umbra was always going places.

"So, where are we going again?" Umbra asked. Tanya smiled and put her hands behind her back. "I told you, there is this really cool stone table thingy out in the middle of the Woods. Its surrounded by tents and a bunch of cool stuff. I saw this necklace there too. Mom said I could not keep it, that I had to give it away. So I gave it to the guards, hmph she never lets me keep anything I find" she said a slight tanturm tone in her voice signaling she was not happy about having to give up something that she saw as beautiful. The raven came back and landed on Umbra's arm. It squaked something and Umbra nodded. "Well not much is changing in the landscape. A river is up ahead though, we can take a rest there. Get something to drink, and eat." she said. Tanya nodded. "Yep! We are on the right trail! Let's GO!" she said thrusting her hand into the air and marched on.

Tithy - January 2, 2007 03:39 PM (GMT)
Tithdaeron giggled. Memories. He remebered the last time he burnt down these woods. They grew back rather fast, which was interesting. Perhaps Liara got sick of them being burnt down all the time and re-grew them. What a goddess she was. Always concerned with her silly trees. Why, if it was in him now, he might have caught the forest on fire again. Except, it didn't work anymore. Nothing worked anymore. Not since a little while ago. He could still shape-shift, and that was about it. He was dying. His time was about nigh. Whether or not he would die at the hands of the... thousands? Yes. It had to be thousands, of enemies, or died peacefully, was not known. It depended on their reactions, he supposed.

There was a river nearby, and a camp as well. He would occasionaly disguise himself as a member of the camp and return for supplies, food, that sort of thing. Tithdaeron had killed the real guy, by jumping on him from a tree branch and ripping his throat out. If he was still a vampire, he might not have done it... Well, at least done it differently. That was a different story altogether, and in the end doesn't really matter.

Off in the distance, the former destroyer of lives heard a familiar voice breaking through the forest ambience. Was that? It couldn't be! It had been too long. In fact, Tithdaeron had always assumed that Ita had gotten to her. Damn that cursed lupine! Damn it all! But still, there was a chance to rejoice. Umbra may still be alive... Of course, there were plenty of other half-demons that looked and sounded similar. So maybe, she was dead. Tithdaeron sighed. He hoped that when he did die, he would at least take someone with him. One last pitiful life to end.

Umbra - January 3, 2007 01:11 AM (GMT)
Umbra sighed as she continued. She had always known Tanya to be a person of great energy, perkyness and an attitude that was as consistant as it was annoying. She watched as Tanya continued on ignoring her question about getting out often. Man...Can someone please tell me how the heck I had gotten in this? she thought to herself. "I told you, there is this really cool..." Tanya said but Umbra had zoned out after the word cool. Next time I am tempted by Tanya to go somewhere I need to remind myself not to go. she said as her Raven sat patiently on her shoulder.

Tanya continued to chat and Umbra continued to zone out just enough that she could repeat Tanya but stay in her own thoughts. Suddenly she thought she smelled something on the moving breeze. She froze and closed her eyes concentrating on the smell but the wind soon changed direction and blew it away. She followed Tanya around a bend the girl still chatting about not being able to keep anything. As they turned Umbra froze surprised as she saw a dark figure up ahead the smell soon came back and she knew who it was. "Tithdaeron?" she said then her eyes widdened as she took a few quick steps towards him, she could not believe it. Oh my gosh! I can't believe it! I thought...I heard he had disappeared! Oh man... she thought as she smiled and gave a short wave. "Tithdaeron. Its good to see you after all this time. How have you been?" she asked as her raven gave a caw.
