Title: Phoenix Flames!
Description: Open to All
Alba Meria - December 20, 2006 02:30 PM (GMT)
Walking through the large doors of the Parmamar Library was someone that most being within Arda would not expect to go there. It was Alba Meria, the Chaos Phoenix. He was covered in a large red cloak which held tight to his Bloodshed Armour, hanging from the waists of this being was a basic, and worn, Katana that Alba had used in many battled in his past. He also had a Katar within a sheath on his right leg incase he needed a good weapon for very close attacks. He also had a large double bladed halbred on his back, this halbred now having taken the name Butterfly Halbred of Bloodshed since it had been merged with the Longsword of Bloodshed Alba once use to weild in combat. The other two things the Chaos Phoenix had were his Bloodshed Shield, that lay over his Butterfly Halbred of Bloodshed, and the weapon he was know best for in Arda, his scythe Dark Death was held in a death grip within his right hand. This was the one thing of Albas that he never let anyone else touch, not even Aaris as of yet.
Stepping into the Library Alba looked around at the looks of shock he was getting from some people, for once the Phoenix had not come to kill, but rather to look up on some new spells so he could learn and master them, then use them to rip apart his younger brother Zenith. Alba growled a little towards the ones looking at him, if he was going to get trouble here then the Phoenix may have to just kill them all anyway. It would be fun after all. Now in the middle of the large building Alba looked from his left to his right until he found the way to the Arcane section of the Library.
Quickly heading over he seen the book he was after. It was a large red and gold book by the name of "Raging Flames of the Phoenix!" Yes this book was exactly what Alba needed to help unlock his true Phoenix power within him, the power to weild flames, to have perfect control over what they do. He rested his Scythe and Butterfly Halbred of Bloodshed against a wall before taking a seat a in a large chair and starting to run through the book, his weapons places in such a distance from him that he would be able to weild them both in a matter of seconds. Now all that was left was to learn how to unlock his powers to their fullest.
Aaris - December 20, 2006 02:45 PM (GMT)
Sitting in one of the chairs, right in front a table near the back was an angel, or fallen angel to be more exact. Her eyes were gazing on pages of an old dusty book that laid her in hands firmly. Once she got started on a book it was impossible to pull it away from her. This book was an interesting one, it had to do with wars in the past. It showed ever inch of detail, to the main weapons, and armor’s they used. This book really helped her learn how to battle more effectively, or kill more effectively. Turning a page dust came out and made her turned her head against her shoulder, than let of a small sneeze. There were only one page left for her to read. She could hear some gasps from other readers, but she ignored it for now. At the moment she couldn’t peel away from her wonderful book.

Alba Meria, the Chaos Pheonix. An ironic and unexpected person for Erik to meet. But why would he have dared approach him? If you were to ask me, I could not tell you. I would have run away... Well, if I had been younger I wouldn't, but that is a story whose end has already been reached. Let's just see what Erik does for now...
-----------
The young aspiring illusionist peered about the myriad books of the library. So much to learn. He often spent his spare time here, learning of history. Other times he was studying new tricks, ever memorizing each painstaking step. The simple parlor tricks he was doing now would not last him much longer. He felt something within him... Something that compelled him to do more, better, and bigger. A curse of sorts on the family, to always aspire to greater things. Never resting.
Another inherited trait, was the gift of guile. Master thiefs, illusionists, spies, diplomats, had all come of his family. He was one of the less expected-to-succeed, but he would show them. Strolling among the books, idly brushing his hand along his katana. It was concealed under his cloak, and he rarely ever used it. Most of the time, it was used for the Man Cut In Half trick. The katana was passed dwon from generation to generation. He inherited it in a game of deception against some relatives.
Something interupted his train of thought. He stopped taking steps and looked around. Somewthing was different. Something in the library had changed. It didn't seem too good either, but, didn't seem to bad... What was it? Rounding a corner, Erik found to whom he owed the pleasure of meeting. Was that really Alba Meria? It couldn't be. No way!
He had heard of him before. On of the few men to challenge The Pariah and live. Yes, he knew that story well. The Battle of Ages in Estolad, to which the elemental left in ruins and discord. The armies had fought breifly, causing more destruction than was necesary. The thought of him made Erik want to scream. He was the man responsible for the deaths of his family. Maybe Alba would help him? Probably not. From what he knew, Alba was just as likely to randomly kill as Tithdaeron... But it was worth a shot.
Approaching the man, who seemed to be studying a book in earnest, Erik decided to start off on an amusing note. Erik approached Alba, walking as quietly as possible. On the left side of Alba, Erik reached his right hand around, and snapped his fingers. If the man looked, Erik would make it seem as if he had just approahced from the opposit direction, and offer him Alba's coin purse. To which he, 'dropped', and Erik 'recovered'.
Alba Meria - December 20, 2006 03:15 PM (GMT)
Alba Meria heard a snapping sound and looked up to see a boy near him, although it was clear this boy had made the Phoenix mad as his eyes were now Phoenix Flames. Slowly reaching his right hand down Alba grabbed his Katar and said, "What the hell do you want? Cant you see im busy kid, or you just stupid and want to die?" Alba was not at all happy about being drawn away from his book, he needed to learn this power and fast and this boy was not helping one little bit. The Phoenix then fully took his Katar out so it was in clear view to this boy, if the young boy did not answer and quick then Alba might need to gut him within an instant.
Slowly the eyes of the Phoenix turned back to their dark red colour, his medium white hair with the red tips falling around his face a little. The next words spoken by Alba were, "Look Kid, tell me what you want ok! I need to get this done fast." Alba then awaited on the reply of the boy as an older man walked by where Alba was, he seen the Katar in Albas hand and the old man then ran out of the Library screaming, "AHHHHHHH ALBA!! RUN AWAY!!!" This of course made the Phoenix laugh, all he was doing was sitting and yet he was still feared, it was rather funny.
Tithy - December 20, 2006 03:41 PM (GMT)
((Agh! Damn! Second time I did that in a row! Curse me...))
Erik gulped. He hadn't expected there to be a Katar ready to run him through. Foolish now, in retrospect. He should have simply minded his own business and he might not have died. God, what a stupid idea. Argh! Now what? What to do!? Sure he had a Katana, but, what use was that this close up anyway? Erik wanted to slap himself in the face. The coin purse! He had forgotten about it. The meal-ticket, of sorts. Hopefully Alba would be either pleased or consoled. Erik smiled wide at Alba, trying not to expose his fear. Humans might be weak, but they were wily indeed.
"Uh, heh heh. You dropped your coin purse sir. Can I call you Alba then? Or do you just want me to call you the Chaos Pheonix? I read about you ya know? Pretty cool. I figured you would want it back..." replied Erik, as he held up the coin purse so Alba could clearly see it. "By the way, how do you do that flaming eye thing? That would be a good magic trick!" he decided to add in. Maybe if Alba beleived that Erik did not fear him as much as others did, it would strike a different chord.
Hopefully. Silently, Erik offered a prayer to Lothlomendil. Of course, what better diety to have on your side when your guts were about to be spilled on the floor? She probably wouldn't come. She didn't come to protect the people who were killed that one day. Not his family. It made him feel angry. Why did he have to sruvive? No, concentrate on the situation... yes, calm down. Focus on your goals... A old man screamed and ran off. Alba laughed. It made Erik laugh too. The Katar was clearly pressed against him as he laughed too. That didn't help.
Aaris - December 20, 2006 04:02 PM (GMT)
"AHHHHHHH ALBA!! RUN AWAY!!!" Aaris ignored the sound for a few seconds as she finished the last few words on the page. So that is how they lost in the end, Aaris thought to herself as she closed the book about some sort of war most people have long forgotten. She turned her head to the sound of the screaming, only to find that Alba was there, talking to someone else. Or by the looks of it laughing really, maybe the old man all of a sudden yelling which made him laugh. Aaris liked for people to come at her like flies, and be trapped in his spider web. But whatever worked for him was good enough she guessed.
Leaving her book closed on the table she got up and began to walk towards them, as she got closer she saw that Alba was holding something very sharp looking at the boy. Her hands were softly in her pant’s pocket as she walked slowly. He looked even more better while holding a kid up with his weapon, but she pushed those thoughts aside quickly. His back was to her.
A small smirk appeared on her lips as she stood behind him, and placed her hands on his shoulders. “I didn’t expect you to be here,” her voice was soft and gentle, something that she hadn’t done in a long time. But it felt right. She turned her head to the boy and grinned at him. “Are you finding death well today?” Her words may have confused them both, but what mattered was that she knew what she meant. Judging by his position, he should tread easy, for he wasn’t in the best position right this moment.
Alba Meria - December 20, 2006 04:39 PM (GMT)
Alba seen the man holding his gold, so this man somehow had gotten Albas gold. The Phoenix quickly took it from the mans hand with his own left hand and placed it back in place. The Chaos Phoenix was not at all happy at that moment and was about to gut the boy open when he heard a voice he knew well. The voice, followed by the hands on Albas shoulders, yes is was Aaris. With his free left hand Alba placed it onto the hand of Aaris that rested on the left shoulder of the Phoenix. He then said, "Yeah, had to find a book. Then again, finding you here is so much better!" The eyes of Alba then snapped back towards the figure of the boy.
His next words were, "As for the eyes well, you gotta be a Phoenix kid! So your lucks out I guess. Now what do you want? Or shall I just slide this Katar up and gut you?" Alba then smirked a little awaiting on the reply of this boy, with Aaris there as well Alba felt better. He was no longer alone in this place and that was of course even better than anything!
((sorry so short!))
Hydrect - December 20, 2006 06:38 PM (GMT)
Erik raised an eyebrow at the rather diminuitive woman who approached. Dear lord, she was small, but boy was she good looking. Erik was dissapointed the instant she began to lavish her attention on Alba. So thats how it is, eh? Oh well. Plenty of other fish in the sea, no? Wait a minute... Thats right, I have a katar trying to find out what I had for breakfast today. Erik looked down at the katar. It looked used, thats for sure. He was distracted by the new person though, and wasn't completely listening to Alba when he asked him what he wanted.
"Huh? Oh. Right, well... Im sure you know of a certain Pariah, ya see, and, word is your one of the few guys in Arda that can take him out. I would be happy to do a few favors for you, in exchange for his head. You see, when he nearly destroyed Lomedor, he killed my family. I have a bone to pick with him. Several, actually..." That was Erik's first and foremost mission in life. To see Tithdaeron die for his crimes. After that, it would be a nice life living as a popular entertainer. Maybe some adventrues would be had as well.
"I am sorry, I have never introduced myself! I am Erik Browden, illusionist and historian. Quite the coupling of skills, no?" continued Erik, as he went to bow. He quickly checked the motion, as it would most likely help the katar along it's way. "May I ask the fine lady to whose pleasure I owe their presence?"
Aaris - December 20, 2006 08:11 PM (GMT)
Aaris began to massage Alba’s shoulders while the other man was beginning to talk. He was sorta brave to come out to a chaotic man like Alba, if Aaris was in Alba’s shoes the man would have been dead already. Or attacked. Which made Aaris think that Alba had more patients for people more then she had. With that thought in mind she smiled gently down at him. In the corner of her eyes though, she didn’t like how this man was looking at her.
The fallen angel looked over at the man, for the first time paying a lot of attention to him. She gave him a light smirk when he asked her for her name. “People call me many things,” she hugged Alba from behind and kept her eyes locked on the other man. “My name is Aaris, although my name doesn’t really mean any importance right now does it?” She questioned him as she stood back up, and rested her hands on Alba’s shoulders, not massaging them anymore.
(crappy post sorry)
Alba Meria - December 20, 2006 08:31 PM (GMT)
Alba closed his eyes for a brief moment as Aaris began to massage his shoulders. He then heard this boy ask for Albas help to kill Tithdaeron, with a smirk spread across the lips of the Phoenix he then said, "You want me to kill Tithdaeron? Its going to cost you, I dont do things for people if I dont get anything in return boy!" Alba then smiled a little as he felt the arms of Aaris around him as she hugged Alba. The Phoenix then said to Aaris, "Im really happy you were here Aaris!" The Chaos Phoenix Alba always felt different around Aaris, but in a good way. He then heard Aaris tell this boy Erik her name as she placed her hands back on the shoulders of Alba.
Alba then looked to Erik once more with yet another dark smirk. He placed his Katar back into its sheath and placed his left hand onto the left hand of Aaris again, this time Alba was not just resting his hand on hers, he laced his fingers with the fingers of Aaris. Alba then moved his left arm round to try and have get Aaris to walk around the chair and in turn sit on his lap, the question was, would she let Alba do this? His eyes were still not leaving the boy before him. After a few moments Alba finally said, "Name your price boy, and I may help you. Then again, I might not. Who really knows." The dark smirk of Alba still spread across his lips.
Aaris - December 20, 2006 08:49 PM (GMT)
Making someone happy was really new to her, so she couldn’t help but close remember eyes and smile at Alba’s comment to her. She needed, wanted, and cared for. Something she couldn’t ever remember having, not even as a child. Suddenly her left hand was then lead by thanks to Alba’s help. She allowed this and walked around the chair, sitting down on his lap. His lap felt comforting to her and she couldn’t help but grin and close her silver eyes in delight.
She enclosed her arms around him and held on to him close. Gods knows when would be the next time she was so welcome in someone’s lap, or heart? For now she didn’t want to think about the future. Right now she was going to enjoy sitting in his lap. Slowly, she shifted and sat on his lap sideways while facing the other man. The fallen archer rested her head on Alba’s chest and sighed happily as she looked down at the sheathed Katar. The urge of whipping the weapon out and stabbing the man came into mind, but Aaris didn’t want to ruin any plans Alba made with this man.
Keroza - December 20, 2006 09:17 PM (GMT)
Keroza wandered into the library, his helm was off so his shaggy main of hair was visible, but the rest of his armour was on but hidden beneath his cloak. Despite his attempts to hide it the boots still made heavy clangs on the ground as he walked through the library causing people to stare at him. He looked back down at them in turn giving each a meaningful glare with his eyes. He ignored them though and walked to the very back of the library, once there he looked through the books and picked out the one he'd been looking for. The title on the spine was written in blood red letters.
Races, streanghts and weaknesses.
He smiled at his find, if he was going to try and destroy every good aligned person he could then it was an advantage to learn their advantages and disadvantages so that he knew how to defeat everyone, the book however was extremely thick and probably missed out most of the more important races that people hardly saw nowadays. He sat down however and opened it up reading the list in front of him. He browsed through it for several hours when the doors opened and a figure walked in. Keroza however paid no attention to him as he picked up a book of his own.
He sat there and continued to read until a loud cry caused him to look up.
"AHHHHHHH ALBA!! RUN AWAY!!!"
He stared over at the man rushing out of the library in a hurry, and then glanced back at the person he was yelling about. A sneer betrayed itself on his face as he saw Alba, and the unfortunate boy at the other end of his weapon, however Keroza did not heed the man's warning; rather than fear Alba, he idolised him, after all he was just about everything Keroza needed to be. Ignoring the slight interuption he went back to reading his book, skipping through the section on Drows seeing as they hardly ever had good in their hearts and weren't exactly Arda's super-race.
He eventually got to the section on elves and angels, at this point he stopped and stared at the text, angels and elves were likely to be his worst adversary in his life and he had to find out everything he could about them, but most of what he could find were their descriptions and streanghts but hardly any weaknesses at all. He scowled at the book slamming it shut in slight anger. He got up and put it back roughly between the shelves, if it didn't tell him anything about his worst foes then it was practically useless in his eyes. He looked about wondering if Alba was still about, and if he'd butchered tha kid yet, Keroza could do with a good riot to cheer him up right now.

The situation was now ripe for Erik to demonstrate his own capabilities. The only thing that impressed these sorts of people was a display of power equal to, or greater than their own. If you ask me, this was one of Erik's better moments in the face of death. Let's see what happens...
---------
Erik Browden, you are a lucky bastard indeed. he mused to himself, as Alba removed the Katar from his now sore stomach in order to further feel up on his girlfreind. Erik suspected the relationship would last only as long as Alba found Aaris attractive. Making a mental note of that, just in case, Erik proceeded to bargain with Alba. Now, people like Alba Meria, were more in love with power than anything else. Anything that could increase their own power the lusted after, and it was a pursuit that never ended. Oftentimes, a mage or some warrior would become so powerful they could no longer control themselves. This usually ended in self-destruction.
So, patience and cunning were a key here. Erik did not like Alba anymore than Tithdaeron, but, Tithdaeron could not be reasoned with. One of these men had to go in order to further his own plans. "Well, I could teach you a few tricks of my own. Some ones you may find useful. In fact, I think you might find them a little more fun!" replied Erik, with a wide, inviting grin on his face. That distracting woman kept crawling all over Alba, and it was certainly trying his patience. Self control... self control... self control... he repeated over and over in his mind, trying to ward off myriad human thoughts and desires that would ruin this whole situation.
"For example, I mean no offense Alba, but you don't look like the strongest guy around. We both know that you probably couldnt lift anything too heavy. But how would you like to be able to lift anything you wanted to..."
Concentrating on the chair beneath the pair, Erik began to lift it and it's occupants off the ground several feet into the air above him. ... Without using any hands?
Alba Meria - January 4, 2007 04:49 PM (GMT)
((OOC: I got permission from Aaris to Teleport her))
Alba felt the form of Aaris rest onto his lap and soon her head resting upon his chest. It felt nice and Alba had nothing to complain about. He also noticed that Aaris was looking down towards the now sheath Katar, Alba knew exactly what Aaris wanted to do and how much she would have had to hold back, this actually made the phoenix let a small laugh escape from his parted dark lips. The Chaos Phoenix placed his right arm around the waist of Aaris as he heard this foolish young man before him go onto say, "Well, I could teach you a few tricks of my own. Some ones you may find useful. In fact, I think you might find them a little more fun!" This Illusionist thought he could teach something to the Phoenix, now that was just funny. After all what was more fun than mindless bloodshed of innocent lives. For a few moments Alba looked down to Aaris with a small smirk as a plan began to form in the mind of the Phoenix.
It was then that the boy, in Alba’s terms anyway, went on to say, "For example, I mean no offence Alba, but you don't look like the strongest guy around. We both know that you probably couldn’t lift anything too heavy. But how would you like to be able to lift anything you wanted to without using any hands?” It was when this fool said this that both Alba and Aaris were lifted into the air; well more that there chair in which both were resting was lifted up into the air. So this boy knew how to use Telekinesis, Alba could now not wait to test the boys’ skills for battle. Yes this fool had just signed his own death wish. The Phoenix was ready and he could almost taste the blood on his lips, it was fuelling his lust for battle and for the blood of others. It was now time for the Phoenix to show he was not a push over, to show that even though his body might not look powerful he held more power within him than this fool knew!
As the chair was raised into the air Alba smirked and used his Teleport spell to send Aaris and himself onto the ground below once, but out of the way of the chair in case it was to fall. With both Aaris and Alba now standing on the ground near Albas Scythe and Twin – Bladed Halberd Alba was now ready to teach this fool his true lesson. His arm was still wrapped around the waist of Aaris but the eyes of the Phoenix were fixed onto the form of Erik, slowly the Phoenix then said towards this Illusionist, “Now now boy, that was not very nice. What the hell, I was not going to attack you but now I no longer care! Have a taste of Mistweavers' Thunder!” Saying this made mist pour into the Library and slowly three forms began to develop from the mist, it was three large lupines made only from the mist meaning they could not be harmed by Melee attacks, but at the same time the beast could not attack with Melee attacks. Instead these powerful beings attacked with streams of lightning from their deep blue eyes, and the steps of the Lupines boomed liked thunder and send more lightning shooting into the air.
As the Lupines fully formed Alba smirked more as he lowered his head towards the neck of Aaris, a kiss soon meeting the neck of the beautiful fallen angel. As Alba began to kiss the perfect neck of Aaris the Lupines started their destruction. Powerful streams of lightning shot from two of the Lupines deep blue eyes towards Erik while the third creature blasted the Library itself. Yes the time of destruction was at hand once more and the name of the Brotherhood of Chaos would be feared more throughout the world of Arda!
Hydrect - January 4, 2007 05:45 PM (GMT)
Erik had thought it worked when Alba started to laugh, but he was proven wrong within a matter of moments. Erik could see Alba's thoughts growing from amusement to anger, and most certaintly bloodlust. Lots of it too. So thats what it felt like. An inquenchable hunger of sorts, such a great need for destruction and discord. It almost made Erik himself go silly, and he quickly stopped reading Alba's surface thoughts. Now was the time to do what he did best. Make Alba think one thing, and do another. It made Erik smile. when Alba teleported to the ground, along with Aaris, and grabbed his weapons, Erik was ready.
Alba managed to think of teleporting out from under the chair, but, he forgot that Erik could move the chair. Now, the chair in itself was not a very fatal weapon by any means. It would serve a marvelous distraction. Besides, being hit with a floating chair never felt good in the first place. It should be avoided if possible. Something Erik did not expect, soon manifested itself in front of him. Magical mist filled the room, and soon three spirit like lupines were summoned. Each one as menacing as the next, they had murder on their brains. Two bolts of lightning sped his way, and a third went wild.
"Oh hell...", cursed the Illusionist. Ducking out of the way quickly, one lightning bolt missed Erik and a second caught his side and spun him onto the ground. Current ripped through his body, and burned the flesh where it struck. It was immensely painful, and Erik's fragile human body was crying for releif. But he was stronger willed than that.
From his prone position, Erik took advantage of the chair. Erik pointed first at the chair, and then at Alba's backside. The chair responded promptly and sped its way towards Alba. stumbling up to his feet, Erik rounded the bookshelf on the right of them and was somewhat safely hidden from site. Looking over his wound, the relectrifying sensation had stopped but the burn still hurt. And his cloak was singed too. Erik frowned.
Aaris - January 7, 2007 07:19 PM (GMT)
A slight signal of her left eyebrow cocked as she stared at the mans eyes who wanted something out of Alba. Instantly she got the huge urge to stab him a couple of times but then they seemed to subside. Only a slight reason that the man was about to get killed just by his non stop talking itself seemed to keep Aaris silent. Her mind knew that if he kept on talking, Alba’s patients would keep on deceasing, until finally everything spun in a chaotic whirlwind of events. First of course would be the naive ignorance, next would be alba’s wrath. Oh what a show, Aaris thought to herself as she listened to the man more as she sat on Alba’s warm lap. It was so nice to be in his lap that Aaris constantly in and out that the mad was even there. But then it was around when he had said, "For example, I mean no offense Alba, but you don't look like the strongest guy around.” Aaris instantly rest her forehead in her palm, while her right elbow was against her right knee. Slightly she slouched forwards as a small laughter popped up from her breath. What a moron, she thought while she shook her head gently to the left and right, almost couldn’t even believe he had said that. “ We both know that you probably couldn’t lift anything too heavy,” he had continue to say. And that was when all saneness if any was snapped from the roots in Aaris’s mind.
Loudly she broke out in an ludicrous laugh which almost made her want to roll on the floor laughing her ass off. A small tear from the high laughter began to form on her left eye, but before she could wipe it away she suddenly felt like being lifted. With a sudden halt her whole breath was silence as she witness the chair both she and Alba were sitting in. Aaris didn’t like this at all, being in the mercy of some weakling, just before she could teleport off of the chair she suddenly felt teleported herself. That odd feeling of being in one place, then all of a sudden being somewhere else completely.
Standing on two feet she appeared next to Alba, and she gave him a light smile just before turning her head to the man. An angry looking brow glared at the man while she ignored the mist forming, turning into three powerful lighting based creatures. Suddenly she could feel a slight warm touch on her neck that turned into a kiss. With her silver orbs only she looked to her left and saw Alba parting his lips from her neck just in time to hear a loud boom from thunder.
Widely a grin formed on her lips, showing white angelic teeth, lust for death was rising. Lust for turning this place into ruins was rising. But just before she had the chance to turn her eyes back towards the man she then saw a chair moving quickly towards her as the coward rounded a bookshelf. A simple chair wasn’t going to stop her, no not in the least bit. Blinking her eyes she appeared next to the bookcase the arcane user whipped around. Lifting a slender left hand she pointed at him with her pale finger. Muttering something that was too low to really hear a flash of purple ray of energy beamed out of her finger. A magic missile aimed towards the man’s chest shot out in hopes that maybe the attack would ring true.
Hydrect - January 8, 2007 03:53 PM (GMT)
Erik was just about to go into the next phase of his Plan B. Which, honestly, for all respects and purposes, was being formulated as time travelled through these events. However, he was interupted in midsentence of summoning an Unseen Servant by the appearance of Aaris and a magic missile to boot. Reacting with haste and a bit of surprise, Erik raised his hands to defend against the missile. "Agh!" he grunted, as the missile came not inches from his hands before he was able to redirect it at his opponent. "I do beleive you lost something, allow me to return it." spoke Erik, with a strange lacey tone in his voice. Just then the missile seemed to warp, and it changed direction. Heading straight for Aaris' own chest.
By the Gods you people suck at sneak attacks. Couldnt you at least try to sneak up behind me? thought Erik as he created a spark in his right hand. "Let's get crazy!" shouted Erik, and just as soon as he had finished his body burst into bright orange flames. The nearby bookshelf also had caught fire, and if anyone decided to get too close they would suffer the same fate. This would force his opponents to attack at range, which was no problem for Erik at all. The Illusionist held out his left hand, and in it a katana appeared with a small poof of smoke. Gripping the hilt with both hands, Erik smiled.
He turned, and ran straight at the flaming bookshelf. It would seem as if he would collide straight into it and topple over, but instead, he passed straight on through and appeared on the other side. The bookshelf was now burning from the inside out, and Erik continued on running to the bookshelf on the other side of Alba. No doubt the would attempt to chase him, as he was working out a rather deadly trap for the both. Amazing how a human could outwit so-called superior races if he put his mind to it. Perhaps it was the human spirit that was a defense against all those fancy powers the other races got. Who knew? Right now what was important was teaching Alba that if he wanted to get any further than he was, he would need help. And Erik would be happy to provide that help.
Alba Meria - January 9, 2007 01:31 PM (GMT)
Alba looked up seeing the chair about to crash into him, Aaris had Teleported from his arms to attack the boy and Alba quickly took his scythe into his hand once more swinging it up towards the chair and smashing the weak thing on impact. A smirk spread along the lips of Alba as he turned to see Erik and Aaris in battle and soon the body of Erik was covered in raging flames. Seeing this Alba slowly raised an eyebrow and held onto his scythe with a tighter grip, his Bloodshed Gauntlets letting him hold a death grip upon it.
He then saw Erik running through one of the bookcases, so this fool had the Phase spell. Alba narrowed his eyes seeing Erik drawing away from him, now was the time to stop playing. The body of Alba began to shimmer and spread out across the patch of floor he stood until there was no longer only one Alba. There were now four of the Chaos Phoenix in total, and all of them had on a full Bloodshed Armour set and also held the Dark Scythe within their grasp. Yes the Summon Master Warrior, and Clone Warrior spells were a favourite of Alba since most people feared one of him. It was fun seeing the way they acted when their was infact four Albas out for their blood.
As these spells took effect on the Chaos Phoenix the three large mist lupines fixed their gaze onto the running Erik, streams of lightning blasting from their eyes at the young mans form, but the chaos heading towards Erik would not end their. All four Albas placed their left hand out towards Erik and their hands began to glow a deep purple in colour before a blast of the Magic Missile spell was shot from each Alba. The thing was that since each of the clones Albas were a perfect copy of the Phoenix each of the four blasts that had been sent out soon split into three thanks to the barrage spell. So in total Erik had the streams of lightning from the Lupines heading in his direction, while there were also twelve magical projectiles of magic missile also heading in his direction. The foolish human would not be able to redirect all of these spells, and that fact made the smirk along Albas lips grow much more sadistic in nature!
