I've been poking around the chat box and the tag-board and I've come to a decision. I've always liked the tag-board because it's simple and stuff, but the flash pop-ups are the devil. So I got the CBox, and it was really nice too and even allowed custom emotes. Yay, and it has no pop-ups! Double yay!! I had originally kept it at the bottom of the board so that it showed on every page and made chatting easy. But guests came and ruined the fun and it had to be hidden in a forum where guests had no permission to view it. But this made it inconvenient for use. :(
I'm currently working on a solution. ^_^ The CBox has the option to change it into a pop-up window that can be kept open while you browse the page, so a friend of mine (:wub:) is kind enough to make it so that I can stick the pop-up link next to the portal and make it so that only registered peeps can see the link. That will keep annoying guests from spamming the CBox, still keep us malicious ad pop-up free, and it makes it easy to use while you browse the board or wherever. ^_^ Also, there is a little refresh link in the CBox that allows you to refresh the page and see if there are new messages, unlike the tag-board.
So as soon as my friend is finished I'll add the link and we can go back to chatting freely! ^_^
Some other things I'm working on are adding more emotes. I miss the orignial IF emotes, and the little blue ones we have are just that: little. It annoys me. So I'll be working on that soon. And as always, I'm still working on the shops. I'm currently still saving the images to my computer and uploading them to Arda's photobucket account. The next step after that will to be replace all the old links with the new ones. It's a large task, and it will take me some time so I won't be as active in other parts of the board, but I am busy working constantly. :) Hopefully everything will get done relatively soon, I only have the spell images to finish uploading before I can start replacing the links. Then I'll be free to RP wth my other characters and do whatever else that needs done.
Oh! And one more thing! I'm working on making a team icon image for the co-admins like the rest of the groups, I forgot that you all didn't have one yet. :banghead: So yeah, just keeping you updated, any feedback is appreciated! :)
